    Interesting subs stat

The same criticism was levelled at him in 2021/22 when we won more points from behind than any other team in the country.

    My concern with Robins

Both of the above. Eccles is largely derided by our fanbase because of who he isn't rather than who he is imo. He's never going to be that creative force that people want to see alongside Sheaf. He's excellent at breaking up play & playing simply. He would be fine alongside a more dynamic...

Imagine if Mike Ashley stepped in......

Wonder who's next for his pretend takeovers. Wednesday?

    My concern with Robins

Yet the data is used by practically every professional club. Someone should tell them.

    Referee

We have a top ref this weekend at least, Anthony Taylor. Not sure why we have got that honour but can only be good news. Only fear for me with PL refs dropping down is they are used to the safety net of VAR which I'm sure subconsciously effects their decision making.

    Referee

I probably give the officials a bit more slack than most, individual decisions like the handball & the offside are clearly wrong & they should do better but they are a genuine mistake. The failure to crack down on timewasting & allowing it to continue so blatantly then not adding the time on...

Bit misleading given their first goal is basically a tap in to an empty net.

    Fury v Ngannu

😂 He's currently doing bits for Darlington, bottom of National League North.

I don't disagree except that I don't think the football has been terrible on the whole. It feels worse than it is with back to back defeats but we have definitely struggled to put together a decent 90mins all season. We've seen flashes of what could be but it's been very disjointed.

Yeah, we're not getting it quite right at the moment, it's all too pedestrian & missing that creative spark. I think he might be a bit more pragmatic until he can bring more creativity in during the January window, but I fancy us to be really inconsistent for most of the season tbh. It's...

I completely understand what you're saying & think most fans would likely agree, but I can guarantee you MR doesn't feel the same way. If we did that tonight he'd probably take it, just to break the poor run but he wouldn't be happy. He is committed to changing the way we play to have more of...

    Championship thread 23/24

Did they lose 2 of the best players in the division? In fact, did they lose any key players at all or simply enhance their existing core to build a stronger squad? Have they also completely flipped their style of play by 180 degrees?

    It’s over isn’t it?

Yep. Was inevitable which is why I'm not losing any sleep over it. Sure it's frustrating but if we are serious about completely overhauling everything that's not a quick process. I expect we'll see a little pragmatism from MR as usual when the going gets tough.

    Fury v Ngannu

Fortunate boy. How on earth one of them had it 96-93 for Fury is ridiculous.

    Fury v Ngannu

Think Fury definitely made it closer as it went on but this has to be Ngannou's.

Ngannou well in charge here. Unbelievable.
