Ironically there was a period when MR left 3 up which completely flummoxed the opposition. I don't remember us conceding many goals because of it so not sure why in more recent years he reverted to having everyone back instead.

This is why it was plainly ridiculous to get rid of MR so early in the season. Nobody we bring in will be as qualified as he was to take us forward. We are basically relying on DK getting lucky with the next man he brings in. I can't remember if you were one of the people wanting him out or...
