    Time to take back control

I suggested it before during the ricoh dispute as people were worried it would be bulldozed. Fans own the pitch, Sisu own the stadium building. It would have been an alternative to selling to wasps.

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

People simply refuse to believe the council have done any harm to the club. If Sisu managed a miracle and won the court case, people would still be saying its Sisus fault. They would then refuse to accept the courts decision, like they moan about Sisu doing.

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

Look at the assistance other councils give other football clubs. Reasonable terms etc, I’d hazard a guess means not trying to put clauses in to prevent professional football. Fishing exercise or not. Let’s not pretend the council haven’t done wrong or can’t be helpful.

Good turnout on Saturday, 16k I believe. Only 7k last night.

That was because Sisu would use the Ricoh as leverage? Put loads of debt on it etc. How’s that turned out with wasps?

So they haven’t brought investment? They’ve brought economic benefits, yes. Not quite the same as investment though. No new training ground, no new hotel. NW beat me to it lol

    What investment have they brought?

    What if

Council are stubborn which you say isn’t a bad thing. Sisu are also being stubborn in their pursuit of legals as they feel they are wronged. So is that not a bad thing also? Or is it another of those occasions where it’s one rule for one party and another for another party?

Distressing ACL is a bone of contention? We were propping them up with extortionate rent. They were distressed anyway weren’t they? Sisu seen this and put the squeeze on?

    new statement

just to flesh out the ACL financial performance prior to 2012, when this dispute began. When the Ricoh was originally opened, the casino tenant was Isle of Capri Casinos, which took a long lease on anticipation of being granted permission for a “super casino”, being promoted by the then...

The problems the country has doesn’t lie with an immigration increase. It’s just an easy and lazy excuse. The problems are of the governments making, they’re short sighted as they are only looking after themselves and their careers. They make the rules. Whether that’s immigration, benefits...

What about the video of jimmy hill leading the sky blue song at HR with everyone on the pitch? With the message, this is what CCFC is, tradition, history, unity, pride.

    Cwr this morning

If you was them, you would make the football club homeless who have been here since 1883. Who the stadium was built for that you own? I don’t want Sisu here, but I want CCFC to play in Coventry. One year rolling deal at say 125k per year. Is that not commercially fair?

I didn’t go Northampton but I would also go this time. Michael Byng has commented on the CCFC official page regarding the statement.
