    It’s not over yet

This guy admitted that there was a possibility that the games may not be played and so was asked how would the league would then be sorted out.

    It’s not over yet

There was a representative of the PL on the news last night saying that no decision had been taken on relegation from that league yet. It does cast a shadow. You would hope the FA are strong enough to stand up to the PL and insist that their earlier pledge is carried through.

‘If’ we are promoted what do we need to compete in Championship?

I think Kelly is being written off too early. If I was picking our player of the season I would now go for Walsh just pipping Kelly and Dabo. However, Kelly holds things together. He is always available for a pass and very rarely wastes it when he moves it on. I think he is a very clever player...

No. But can't be bothered to to write out again all of the reasons why.

    Michael Doyle

Whlie Aidy Boothroyd's teams may have been hard on the eye, I always enjoyed listening to his after match comments where he usually had something insightful to say. One of his sayings was that, while football teams needed artists, they also needed soldiers too. Considering how long our club has...

You're right, don't know why I said January, apart from the fact I am an old git!

    Accrington Chairman on twitter

By the end of July though it seems that employers will be expected to make more of a contribution to employee's wages even if they continue to be furloughed. It seems the new season will kick off BCD so the only semi major source of income for clubs will be revenue from streaming. At some point...

    Unbeaten Run

You're right. We played 7 FA Cup games in all. Three were before the Shrewsbury game, 4 after, so 18 unbeaten in all comps.

    Unbeaten Run

One of the unfortunate consequences of the likely non playing end to this season is that this team's remarkable ability not to lose may not be recognised in the record books. I make it 14 league games unbeaten since we had the 'Just Listen To Me' thread after defeat at Shrewsbury in January. I...

    Premier League

The above is the lamest yet. What does it matter to them what happens in the league below. Your team finished in the bottom 3 and so would be relegated who ever is promoted.

    Can we compete

They leave Boddy and Robins to get on with the running of the club and keep Fisher away from a camera or a microphone. Apart from that I don't see that anything is different. Success on the field doesn't excuse the way that they have run the club.

    Liam Kelly

Neve hides, is always there to take the ball in difficult situations. If we do go up I think he is one of the players who could make the transition.

    Can we compete

It isn't Sisu's reluctance to splash millions on the team that brings them criticism. It is the way that they have cynically used the club to try and get their own way that makes most fans dislike and not trust them. I'm not going into it all again but their history is there for all to see.
  14. Irish Sky Blue

    Can we compete

I think we would have to rely on the management duo producing a team that plays well above their financial station, something I think that they are capable of doing. I noticed that Robins, in one of his lockdown Q and A sessions, said that this year's budget was no where near a lot of clubs in...

    Eddie Johnson, thanks.

    Championies, Championies

Wouldn't that see Ipswich and Bristol Rovers promoted? This seems the most bizarre method of sorting the season out.

The football under Reid was awful as were his signigs. He jettisoned Gudjonson who had been great for us under Black, sent McSheffrey out on loan to Luton with his replacement being a Man Utd youth player (can't remember his name) who did nothing for us or in his later career. When he left, we...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

We had 55K at Wembley for the Charity Shield.

I never rated him very highly. Oggy was never afraid to put his head in when boots were flying. Can't say the same for Magnus.

Hope so! Need to fall over the brink.
