Most of the criticism was about playing 4 CBs, which didn’t work and one was hooked at HT. Playing Liam Kitching at wing back is objectively hilarious and in true Kitching fashion his only contribution there was a needless booking for clocking someone.

Sadly he may still benefit. Running Lando off seems to have ruined any chance of him getting into the top 2, and Max will probably still finish 4/5.

It’s such a simplistic view to solely blame Binks. We gave their player all the time in the world on the edge of the box to pick the pass, that is the main issue. As a defender you can only react to the striker’s movement so you’ll always be on the back foot.

If we’re gonna play 5 at the back you have to have a CB who can step into midfield otherwise you’ll be outnumbered.
