It was quality. Two goals and great assist. Good to see him back

Compubox (which is never 100% accurate but a decent guide) indicated that whilst fury threw more Usyk outlanded him in ten out of the 12 rounds. As I’ve mentioned before it was only by a few punches each round which shows it was a close fight but round boxing means the victory can end up being...

    Boxing 2024

The money was really in a trilogy fight though. A couple of my mates thought fury would get any close decision on that basis. Without rewatching, the right man won. As I said earlier round/points boxing can be lopsided. You might win 5 rounds convincingly and the other guy might nick 7 rounds by...

    Boxing 2024

There’s a lot of dodgy stuff that goes on in boxing but this could be as simple as there just being a lot of close rounds. then what you like and the judges preferred Usyk. Can make a close fight look lopsided. The cleaner work, especially to the body did feel like usyks and he maybe partially...

Too close to call I thought. Great 11th by Usyk and probably had him sneaking it overall out the two if I had to pick one. To do that with the disadvantages he had, it’s amazing really. Generational talent

If we’re going to play down the flanks more and get crosses in, Simms has to play. I’m pretty sure he’d have got at least one goal first half. Big, big win and played some good stuff in patches. Defence is still a worry.

Agree with most of that but maybe MvE or Lati at RB. Eccles in midfield, torp as 10 and Rudi on bench (to come on second half)

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

I was responding to Tony saying that’s austerity caused a worsening of government debt by every measure. I was saying it’s not as clear cut. Public services and GDP, austerity would’ve had negative impacts obviously. FWIW I’m pretty sure USA debt to gdp is a lot higher than pre pandemic...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Austerity did stifle growth and negatively impact public services but it’s not really entirely fair to say it was the cause of the debt rising by every measure There was already a massive increase in debt to gdp under Labour government/a spike after the financial crisis. Basically under Brown...

    Lati

I agree with all that but I’d still have Kitching in for a run of games alongside Thomas. He’ll take a bit to get up to speed but got to be worth a go. If we want to play out from the back we can’t have a right footed CB played LCB, let alone one who’s not overly comfortable on the ball anyway.

    Sheaf

Hmmm, be careful what you wish for….haven’t Man City lost 7 drawn 2 and won 1 in last 10 ? Still got the outcome of the investigations to come as well stick with the City (Cov) madness !

It’s up to the players to pull their heads out their arses and start performing then. They need to stop looking around elsewhere and take some collective responsibility

Got to say I thought he’d struggle on the left but typical Lati, threw everything into it
