We're 15 games in and our points total is relegation form. The new manager presumably won't have a time machine back to August, so that is a ridiculous statement.

74 points is generally the minimum that will reliably get you into the playoffs. That's just over 1.6 points a game. I'd hope the new manager to average that for the remainder of the season which would give us 65/66 points and we'd probably finish around 10th.

xG +/- shouldn’t really be used in this way. To do it properly you should use an xPts simulation.

Collins wasn’t that bad last season, got some unfair stick UNTIL the final 5-10 games where he totally fell apart and was crap. QPR final day would’ve gone better with sky blue Sam in goal.
