    Best combined play off team

You are not really comparing apples with apples though, McNally played in a back 3 with a team set up to defend and hit teams on the break. Thomas and Kitching have played mostly in a back 4 in a team, especially under Lampard, that leaves itself far more open. McNally as good as he was in his...

    Summer Transfer Window

I hadn't realised that Forest got more points in their first season after promotion (38) than last season (32)

    Summer Transfer Window

To stay up you realistically have to make the team greater than the sum of its parts. You are not realistically going to sign that many players, just need to be very precise about who you sign and what for. I like O'Hare personally, nothing against him at all. Not really got anything against Hamer either, he might have strung us along but ultimately his sale has been transformative.

    Summer Transfer Window

    Summer Transfer Window

The club's accounts for years ending 2000 and 2001 show operating losses (before amortisation of players which imo is a paper loss) of £1.5m in each year. After that it added in profits on sales of players which brought both years to a profit position. I think the day to day financial...

What's the position with parachute payments this time? Isn't there some tapering for a yo-yo team so that it doesn't lock in the yo-yo-ing?

A bond is just swapping a reserve attracting interest at the BOE for a gilt, it pays interest on a defined investment over a defined period rather than just interest on reserves. Not really sure what difference it makes in inflation terms.

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

I've just watched it, I've got two sons who are not yet teenagers and couldn't help put the older one in Jamie's shoes. Terrifying like you say.

The are limitations to government spending of course, but they are nothing to do with tax collection which you continuously imply.
