Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

There’s no sound or context to the clip. The subtle ‘our viewers are smart enough to understand what that means’ suggestion I mean, come on 😂

Just have the sound on maybe ? ‘My heart goes out to you, thank you’ does change the context a bit rather than he was intense, came out did a little dance and then did that salute. We do agree so let’s leave it there.

Anyone switching on at that time and they’re talking about a salute and viewers being smart and take a look if that ? Come on. Listen to their words, you don’t think they’re trying to influence their viewers ? All I’m saying is if you’re going to highlight something like that, show it on...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Let’s be honest, looking at the whole speech, he’s a strange one. At best that’s extremely clumsy, at worst downright offensive What is also strange though is CNN mentioning and showing the clip without context or sound. Why do we still live in an age of people/media trying to influence...

Hard to disagree with this. He will do what’s best for Trump

Oh, I know Musk has but hadn’t seen anything from trump. He does appear to have a bit of an affinity to U.K. but not sure that will supersede the issues he might have the members of the government

Hmmm, has he though ? We’ve got plenty of senior politicians that have attacked him but not sure I’ve seen much the other way round.

Binks has done it all year, he lets players run off him all the time and has no awareness of what’s happening around him. Thats why having him next to Dasilva in a back four was asking for trouble That’s not saying both aren’t useful players, I thought Dasilva had a great game after shaky...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

I think there’s going to be more fall out from the end of the Biden presidency. He was obviously incapable of running government and there continues to be questions about who was making the calls. One interesting comment from Trump…well I do love a good conspiracy… he’s announced they’re going...

    Bristol city player ratings

Some giving Simms a 6…it’s almost comical. Ran them ragged second half, won a loads in the air, held the ball up and also put one on a plate for rudoni. Also agree with Gibbo Torp looks like a different player since Lampard came in, getting stuck in far more and lasting full games...

    Close quarter control

Yeah, hopefully this is a sign of confidence growing in the team. Rudoni is so good technically, great to watch at times. As you say maybe overplays it now and then but really could be some player for us. Think he’s got 7 assists and 3 goals already (should’ve been 4 after great cross from Simms...

Agree with a lot of that. Problem if Binks goes LCB is it probably exposes Dasilva. Not sure why Thomas didn’t start, wasn’t sure if Lampard was suggesting after game that he hadn’t been totally ‘on it’ in training or just rotating Just seen Pete’s beat me to it !

On a couple of occasions there was some slick one touch passing that I’d not seen for months. We’re also moving the ball with more purpose and intent I can only presume those grumbling didn’t see games like QPR and Derby earlier in the season.

Great result today. Deserved the clean sheet as we’ve been a lot tighter in recent games, just had some bad luck. Look a threat going forward second half as well and all this without Wright, Mason Clark and Sheaf

Not sure what to make of the line up. Expected a couple of changes, especially if players are on the move ! I suppose we had played well for a fair bit of last weeks game but would prefer to keep a settled defence if everyone’s fit

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

My point was that prospective cuts would’ve been related to what’s happening in the gilt market. I thought FP was talking about if more were required as reeves might potentially break her fiscal rules. Might be talking crossed purposes though

Match Thread Coventry City - Bristol City FC Match Thread - Saturday 18th Jan

Spot on. It was mess. No consistency, leaky defence (yet Kitching still not being given an even a sniff), Mason Clark consistently being shoved out on his wrong side, strikers in no rhythm or confidence. It was like the first time Robins had got a squad where the subs/squad players were up to a...

‘Surely lampard didn’t come here with no money to spend in January’

If lampards looking at this as a longer term play he’ll be happy with this approach. You can easily blow millions on overpriced transfers and loans in Jan. If the right players are available at the right price, then I’m pretty sure we’ll get some deals done*, if not we’ll have to sit tight. I’d...
