People who hate Coventry City FC ...

From what I see in the social and internet domain, you'd think the people who hate CCFC the most are CCFC fans.

    Squad Travelling to Spain

While I am sure Chris has a very good future ahead of him, he is behind Haynes and Stokes, who are more experienced, more likely to be ahead of CC in the pecking order and are better players than CC (at this point in his career). CC like the other 18's now need to prove themselves, in...

    Squad Travelling to Spain

It could have been, but the image in the background of the 87' final and the machine itself is two things you find at Ryton Lodge.

The question then becomes "Can Mark Robins' team do it on a cold Wednesday night in Stoke?"

    Squad Travelling to Spain

The image looks like it's come from Ryton Lodge so I would suggest it's accurate.

Happy with this, would be ideal if he had West Brom or Leicester from the Cat 1 teams.

    Squad Travelling to Spain

24 man squad to Spain seems reasonable, slightly irked about Cian Harries not being included, a kid with un-doubted potential, but again it appears another manager is not wanting to take a punt on the lad. The remaining players I can sort of understand being excluded from the squad, it would...

While you're correct, does the link specifically show the information relating to Cyrus Christie's transfer?

    Striker in the pipeline?

Tbh they might as well of said "We don't have a clue" would have been more accurate.

Cyrus was out of contract when he left CCFC for Derby, therefore we can't negotiate a sell on clause in the same way we did Callum Wilson as we have no contractual right to the player. The tribunal is to set a fee, nothing more.

    Ex Player Watch

There are no clauses for CCFC to benefit from any future fee received for Cyrus.

    James Collins

5 Clubs in League 2? I count three at the most (one loan club in Northampton and two permnament clubs, Shrewsbury x2 and Crawley) 70 goals in 200 appearances across the Clubs in League 2 - a decent record in my view.

    James Collins

It shows that at this level he is prolific in front of goal, with arguably his best years in him. I'm happy that MR is looking elsewhere, however players who can stick the ball in the back of the net consistently are a diamond within the rough.

    James Collins

60 career goals in League 2, across 2 clubs? Hardly terrible for someone at the age of 26, but if Robins didn't want him then I believe he has alternatives.

So it appears after all this CCFC never followed up their interest with a bid for the player. Reports suggest the Sky Blues offered Crawley a six-figure bid for the striker, who signed a three-year deal with League Two rivals Luton. But Collins told Luton Today: “I spoke to Coventry, but in...

Transfer Rumour Signing incoming? (op was out by a few hours)

CCFC would still receive compensation under the FIFA Compensation rule, however it's more likely to be less then what CCFC could receive for Thomas (hypothetically) going to another English club.

Transfer Rumour Signing incoming? (op was out by a few hours)

DKE can cut it in League 2, but currently he is the only option (Mark Robins referred on Friday night to playing Willis as a CB because that's where he is stronger positionally). If DKE is our only option and taking into account Willis' injury record of late, we would need cover in that position.
