Eccles gets a double whammy on this. When he plays well it's downplayed/overlooked. When he's not at his best it gets massively exaggerated.

Why would we do that when he's making our bench? We aren't a charity, he didn't win a competition. Successive managers now have deemed him good enough for a spot on the bench so I really don't understand the obsession with getting rid of him
