It’s baffling to me that people think a professional footballer would lose all sense of anything because he is on the right rather than the left … even after saying himself he’s good with both sides. he was very clearly told to play that way.

I mean, you can’t really go off 1 game, it’s the exact same argument against not jumping the gun on the poor start - hindsight is always king. said walking to the ground it will be clear if the players are willing to fight for him. credit to them all. MR, the coaches and the players.

All the players were brilliant. Proper response after Saturday. a 5 for EMC is wild. He was much improved. In terms of positioning he was clearly told to drop centrally a bit more
