    Rumour...

In the CCFC statement from Tuesday last week; The EFL has asked the Club to provide a full update to its board on 11th April regarding the stadium situation for next season. This update will cover the various options that have been put forward by the Club and any further developments that...

New Statement from SISU re. Council

SISU are within their legal rights to challenge any outcome in court, therefore as much as the council/Wasps think they're being a nuisance, SISU are simply exploring the channels available to them. Wasps/Council could talk to SISU/CCFC about an agreement to remain at the Ricoh, however they...

    Rumour...

Like any rumour it's irrelevant until its confirmed or denied, therefore I would pay no attention to it.

    Rumour...

Is this the same as the rumour we were going to Rugby, MK Dons or the planet Mars?

    CWR tonight

When you say “they” do you mean CCFC or CWR?

New Statement from SISU re. Council

I really want this matter sorted, but when I see these statements and the suggestions made about the Council and their behaviour it infuriates me.

    Priorities

I stopped short of reading the remainder of your OP when I saw this line. You care more about our City than CCFC, which essentially means you were happy for the Council and ACL to bring in a franchised Rugby Club from London and shove two fingers in the face of not just CCFC, but also Coventry...

    Woodlands

Interesting question. Wimbledon are currently building a 11,000 seater-stadium which will allegedly cost nearly £16m - it should be noted that the stadium could be expanded to 20,000 in the future, which I imagine will mean the cost of a 20,000 seater-stadium will come close to the £25m for...

    Our Home Form

I think in our position at the moment you're always going to lose a few games or drop points along the way, the problem is we have done it too frequently, three games that stand our immediately are; Sunderland (H) - Chaplin should've won us the game, but was too cute with his finish. Walsall...

Deepdale is a good example in theory, if SISU were to build a stadium to that spec for CCFC it would meet a lot of the requirements and potential that our Club has.

    Bouwe Bosma?

I did see Bosma play twice in the summer, I can’t say I was overly impressed and he did need a lot of work. Using Allasani as a comparison, RA has all the technical abilities but needs a run of games for fitness and sharpness, I don’t think Bosma will reach the level where we are.

I believe something like this is possible, I don’t know HDW if you’d been to original White Hart Lane, but there was barely any space there. Now they’ve funded their new stadium through building 200+ houses and a supermarket. With the space available at Woodlands I could hypothetically see...

I don’t think any of the old houses or blocks are being used at the moment Stu.

Totally agree FB. Yes we are all skeptical based on the history of SISU’s ownership, but let’s this play out before writing it off completely.

I wonder if there is away around that by SISU/CCFC hypothetically, for instance if the Club said it was a community hub/stadium project, Power League is up there currently, also with the school for kids with behavioural needs and a new stadium they could suggest that SBITC could base themselves...

    Woodlands

I’m pretty sure it’s only the two (Gibraltar and Canterbury) which surely must be on the verge of falling down - in comparison the old hospital was a listed building but they pulled that down for student accommodation.

Me too! Albeit I was in Cresswell, three generations of my family had been there and I was first to get in serious trouble, I was not flavour of the month, but good times.

Gibraltar and Canterbury are 100% listed to my knowledge - or they were when the school was last open.

I’m not sure that the road infrastructure will be something that holds up the application, while it isn’t uncommon for most new Football Stadiums to be built on the outskirts to the City and links to local A-roads and Motorways if the application means regeneration of the local area, with new...

I did suggest this would be a good site on Friday on a seperate thread, the only problem I can foresee is that some blocks are listed buildings.
