I think the problem that the producers would have, is that a lot of the cast have gone from relative unknowns, to really famous and in demand actors and getting them all in one place for a new series would be very difficult.

King Nidge is one of the all time great tv anti heroes. His transformation from low level gang member and doting family man, to the monster he became is standout writing. From what I`ve read, the new series is going to be a spin off about the Gypsy lad that Nidge was at war with.

I wouldn`t describe it as scary at all, more that it slowly becomes unsettling, up until the final act, where it really does become frightening.

The Presence. One of those films you`ll either love or hate. Not a horror film, but more of a slow burning supernatural film. The camera work takes a bit of getting used, to as it`s filmed as though you`re looking through the eyes of " the presence ". A seemingly well off and happy family...

Landman. Billy Bob Thornton effortlessly carries the whole thing, other than that it pretty much watched like a soap opera, interspersed with bouts of violence. Disappointing.

Apart from the whole series being one of the best cop dramas of all time, with one of the all time great anti heroes in Vic Mackay, the final episode is a template on how to finish a series with a proper bang. ( as horrible to watch as it is )
