My Leeds mate can't stand him. But he can't stand Wise either...or Warnock. Ha.

Did he swear at Kilbane and abuse a ball boy?

I actually want Dennis Wise here, but have been thinking about KB. Why do I not like him? Every time we played a team he managed, I hated them and him. Always all over ref, in ref's room at half time few years ago, time wasting and killing game, loadsa mouth and slagging opposition off in...

Crewe V SKYBLUES ... MATCH thread...........

Never, ever glad for us to lose. We need someone with some balls to get them fighting. Do want Wise, but maybe Blackwell is the one. Always hated playing any team he managed. They were quite sly and always all over the ref. what we need? More nouse and fight.

I don't want him either, but if I'd just applied for the job I'd be there too. Shows willing!

Blog - Its not just the right manager needed at Coventry, its the right mentality...

I've read it. Think it almost matches how I think, and the Swansea example ( and perhaps WBA) is a very good one. We, in this league, probably have the best chance now to do that. Well written.

    Transfer Deadline Day

Do we all assume there is not one iota of point in keeping an eye on this deadline at all tomorrow night? Anyone out? Or will it all be new man to use loan market for one or two?

Waggott: Is development director, Shaw and Carsley going nowhere

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/coventry-city-fc/coventry-city-fc-news/2011/11/10/coventry-city-chairman-ken-dulieu-on-player-contracts-joe-elliott-and-sisu-92746-29753290/2/ Fisher may have been on the board, but he had no day to day say. Dulieu was chairman and dealt with it. Waggot was not...

    Bizarre Idea

I agree. Wouldn't be surprised for him to be on the look out for his next victim though...behind those shaded glasses.

    Dennis Wise

    Not wishful. He's a toad, isn't he?

    Bizarre Idea

...but Leeds are being taken over for £50m. Means Bates is without a club again. He seemed to know a lot of the goings on with Cov when he slagged Ranson and SISU off two years ago. Takes over clubs that are failing. Wasn't he mates with McGin and Richardson? Could he take over with Wise...

Fisher: Why Andy had to go

So much so, he had to have a little sit down for the whole of the rest of the game.

Fisher: Why Andy had to go

Interestingly, he and Waggot are based at Ryton. Lurking. Nose through the blinds. Ha ha. A good thing, or like Dullieu on the bench?

Waggott: Is development director, Shaw and Carsley going nowhere

Didn't Shaw and Wise leave on the same day when we finished 8th under Adams. Sure they did. Remember the aptly named 'lap of honour' ;)

Thorn's final gift was the Bury game and that tells you all you need to know about his 18 months as 'manager'.
