Goal difference will be key. Glad we got a goal back vs the Blunts, but not happy with how easily we got carved open for the second and third goals. I’d play for a turgid nil nil vs Burnley just to get a point on the board.

Hamer was clearly the difference maker between the 2 sides. When we went to the playoff final, we had 2 cheat codes in Hamer and Gyokeres. We need to unearth a couple this offseason if we want to go up.

I don’t think we are better than the top 3 teams and frankly it’s not surprising considering the budgets they are working with. We really need to strengthen the squad and have a full season (not half a season of good results.
