    Forest Granny pushed down hill

Sorry to report that another old granny was pushed down by the Metrodome yesterday. PUSB

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

@Earlsdon_Skyblue1, we meet again. The excuses are coming in thick and fast, so far we’re up to: - the new away kit hasn’t been released - fans are at breaking point over season cards. (Ridiculous) - the club shop was shut - people want to use their garden BBQs - the tickets are too expensive -...

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

They’ve been on sale to ST holders since Friday last week, so almost a week now. In 2019, Bolton Away tickets didn’t go on sale until the day before the game because of their issues at the time and we took 1800-2000, to a similar distance ground, so not sure it’s down to that either. Has...

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

After 18 months of no away games and largely having our freedoms restricted, are you honestly telling me having to wait until general sale is the barrier to buying? If that’s the case, tickets should be flying out in general sale now regardless.

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

When on general sale, you should be allowed to buy as many as you like. For Away Allocations under 1500 like Bournemouth say, it should be one per ST. This can then be increased based on the away allocation we get.

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

We have over 10,000 season ticket holders and have only sold 1500. From that amount I’d expect us to have 2500-3000 as a hardcore away following for most weekend games.

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

Sorry I didn’t mean bigger, that’s too ambiguous and a massive and tiring debate. To elaborate, I meant have a better away following than us. In recent years our away followings have been impressive and generated lots of praise. I don’t want to see our away support drop off back to the give or...

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

Again: Excuses about prices, summer holidays, the new away kit not being out(!) or post-Covid worries would take a few hundred off the following, not several thousand. Birmingham and Forest had rubbish kick off times and took over 2500. We can’t claim to have better away support than either if...

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

In League 1 pre Covid we could comfortably take 2000-3000 fans most places depending on allocation. Here we have a nice 4000 odd capacity stand at Barnsley and we’ve sold 1500?! Excuses about prices, summer holidays, the new away kit not being out(!) or post-Covid worries would take a few...

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

I still think even with higher ticket prices (Barnsley has stayed about the same, hasn’t it?) and fears of Covid, we should be taking 2.5K minimum....Particularly with how brilliant our away support has been since we we were last in the Championship. I really hope our away followings collapse...

    Barnsley THIS Saturday

Does anyone have any idea on how many we have sold? The twitter admin is always pestered with that question so I didn’t want to add to that if the answer is already out there

    Where's Max?

In our last season in League 1 he scored a decent amount of goals considering minutes on the pitch. Biamou would be an asset to any League 1 team. Even Bakayoko got a move to Bolton in League 1.

    Barnsley

Well that’s where you haven’t read what I’m responding to. The post is stating that because his mate has to wait for general sale (and can’t buy in Priority 1) his friend won’t go and the poster has to go on his own.

    Barnsley

This might be a shock for you, but for most clubs above League 1 level, that is completely normal. For away games in 90% of the Championship and all Premier League, it’s one per ST plus above a loyalty point threshold. Some teams even charge to have an away membership to apply for tickets. One...

CCFC named and shamed for not paying minimum wage

Agreed. The club are a lot more transparent and engaging with supporters than a few years ago. Previously we would have just had a photograph of the corner flag on the CCFC website with no further statement to make. As much as I would love this to be a SISU conspiracy, business and admin errors...

    Martin Cranie

I've said the same thing since 30th April, along with the lack of width and pace further up the pitch.

    Martin Cranie

I don’t know if you get your facts from Youtube too but last season Cranie played 23 league games (including 3 sub appearances and being subbed off 5 times) which is 50% of the 46 league games in the league. I get your point on mind and pace but I think it’s only Ostigaard that can stand up...

    Martin Cranie

Really struggling to see why we are going for Cranie. As highlighted many times before, Hyam, Rose, McFadzean and now Cranie, move slower than a 1980s BBC abuse investigation. I’ve seen one FB poster say that Cranie is slow but McFadzean/Rose can cover in a back 3 for the lack of pace?! That’s...

    Masks at the Arena

If you want to be cautious (which is perfectly fine) then that’s a good way of playing it and exactly what I did for the Wembley games of the Euros. It was only in the concourse areas I felt like it was necessary to wear my mask due the sheer volume of people crammed together to get to Kiosks...

    Behind the goal

I don’t think there was a flood of people on SBT comparing the Old Telegraph Stand to the Dortmund wall... maybe a few optimistic teenagers on twitter that wrote to Dave Boddy, but that’s about it. Being realistic, until we get regular home crowds of 18,000-20,000, the atmosphere is going to be...
