Really, really disappointing but just backs up the point that the squad is too thin. Missing 3 of our usual back 4 & 2 of our usual midfield 3 was always going to be tricky. With that said, I'm surprised we lined up as we did or at least not change it up sooner, everyone could see what was coming.

Starting Bassette in 7 of his first 9 games in charge was mad. No coincide we improved when he was finally dropped.

We only won 1 game in September. Charlton, Ipswich, Boro, QPR & Preston all picked up more points.

A Centre Back who wore No.7. For that reason alone you are justified in erasing him from your memory.

The other point to this is, we all accept that players improve over time, yet the same courtesy is rarely afforded to managers. It's pretty obvious that Lampard has learned a lot & become a better manager now than before & he says as much himself.

My eyes tell me that Leicester & Hull deserved their point each but we've absolutely dominated everyone else. Data backs that up too... xG table says we should be 4pts clear. Scored 22 (almost double anyone else in the league) & have +15 goal difference after 8 games. That's mental.
