While the sky is blue - The Believers

Yes it is while the sky is blue, apologies I thought you were saying we never ran out to while the sky is blue. My bad. Watching the players coming out reminds me of the little things about that time, the players having a little kick about with the mascots, the tin can tannoy, the sky blue...

While the sky is blue - The Believers

His dad is right and you’re wrong I’m afraid, was played consistently 1999 season, my first year with a ST. Happy times.

    Championship thread 24/25!

Sheffield United’s bench tonight is absolutely terrifying for the Championship.

    Doug got it right

So if Lampard gets us promoted, you’ll be giving Mark Robins the credit then?!

How did that work when he had Mason Mount, Tomori, Ashley Cole, Harry Wilson, Tom Huddlestone and Lawrence in a final?

    Doug got it right

Yeah the squad depth is better now, I’m not on about unused subs. Hamer and Gyokeres were unbelievable, those two alone push that team (starting 11 not including staff, unused subs or ball boys) beyond this but that’s simply my opinion.

Will you make the game if you’re back out of your sheep in time?

    Doug got it right

Course he did, just another ingrate. I get it’s the first time we’ve had a world class name at our club but for some of our fans, it’s like the first time a mildly attractive girl has looked at them.

But that team did have Hamer and Gyokeres, so it is. If your uncle had three balls, he’d be a pinball machine etc.

So you’re waxing lyrical about someone that hasn’t achieved anything yet over someone that achieved multiple promotions and finals? There’s a lot to be excited about but none of us know if Lampard can get us over the line when it matters, and that’s what I’m saying to hold caution about.

There was more to it than poor form I agree, but there was lies chucked in there and an attempt to portray that Robins could only survive with AV and his bibs and cones. Clearly MR was going through a tough time personally with bereavement too. Lampard has started really well, credit to him...

‘He has secured MR’s legacy’ 😂 The c**t threw MR under the bus in an embarrassing fans forum. Mark Robins secured Mark Robin’s legacy.

Hilarious. If you needed anymore proof, here’s evidence he grew up in Cov, he was just as much of a chav as the rest of us.

I think Lamps put it well, this whole he turned us down is speculation that doesn’t even look right. Forest were in the championship and paid £1-2M for him from Walsall when we were in League 1 and Northampton with greats like Adam Barton in midfield and only signing shit free agents and loans...

    Pato

Don’t know where that hype has come from, he’s played in front of the home fans at the CBS many times! Whether he’s from Cov or not, adding some experience down the middle of the pitch at little risk and low wages, is a good addition. He’s always played well against us, let’s see if that added...

Great watch. Being the same age as Paterson, it reminds me how that growing up with the mass exposure from Sky/ITV of Premier League/Champions League football every week, even as die hard Cov fans, there was players such as Gerrard, Henry, Lampard, Owen, Fowler that you’d adore and thus build...

Is there video of that? Bit different IMO when you’re in the game (where players claim multiple allegiances) and been in the Man Utd Academy. We had the chance to sign him when he left Man Utd too but were too focused on future greats like Adam Walker.

Unfortunately not, plenty of the younger lads say Cov, Cov city and Coventry, whether you like it or not. Such is the prominence of glory hunters, if you say you support City to most lads under the age of 35, they assume you mean Manchester City.
