    Injury Updates

Think Lamps is keeping things close to his chest. Torp on the bench against Wednesday is promising. Eccles may not make it for a while. No inside info, just a suspicion. Rudoni some weeks could mean anything.

Agree can only think of the Leeds and Burnley matches at home where he was less than brilliant. Was it against Burnley he gave them the ball back that led to the equaliser? Think that is why Lamps drilled into the players not to show the opposition too much respect regarding the parachute teams.

That day Campbell tried to take out Grimes, MVE and finally Dovin, where he succeeded. The ref was a disgrace that day not realising what was going on.

I think the linesman played the not interfering with play card. Assume he thought Bobby was onside with the header and then he thought Haji never touched it. Haji knew, he never celebrated until the goal was given.

Guilty as charged. If anyone thinks they are right all the time and crow about it, it is the first step in psychopathic tendencies.

Robins instinct has always been to defend first. Our new regime is fuck it lets go for it. PSG, Bournemouth and Newcastle play a similar get if forward quick policy. Obviously, we are light years behind those teams but it is the right way forward. PSG and Newcastle even go for the rugby kick it...

Mark Robins said Bidwell was a Rolls Royce of a player. He has been good for us, but struggled after his injury. Absolutely fine in the last sub appearances.

Lamps said Grimes was even better than he thought he was. Have to give Austin credit, he was already on our try to buy list before Lamps came in. Think his age considering the price determined Swansea letting him go. Hope he can keep going for some years yet. Look at Bannon who was brilliant...

    Team for Blackburn

Depends who is match fit. Torp was not at his best against Millwall as soon as he got injured. Whomever is 100% fit gets the nod. Also depends when Haji gets back from International duty.

I can't understand how we play three games in such a short time with significant injuries, two away, and win 3-0, 4-0 and 5-0 and some players were occasionally poor or made too many mistakes? Thought we were lucky to keep a 0 against Millwall and the last gasp header from Wednesday, but we...

Shit weather. Real leveller. Not sure we can keep our high pressure press when we are knackered. Injuries a worry especially if EMC is not 100%, Torp and Eccles are out. Wednesday have really surprised me, I thought they would be getting results like Sheff Utd. Shame we are playing them before...

He made three brilliant runs last night even excluding the goals. Unfortunately, our midfielders fluffed the passed when they tried to put him through. Just mistimed his run for the header that he put across the goal and was ruled offside.

I thought Millwall actually stretched us especially at the start of the second half. Their one touch football was excellent and their wingers were a real threat. Their right winger missed a good chance in the first half when he scuffed his shot. However, their final balls were poor and they...

    Judging the Frank Lampard change

Think if Robins and Viveash had not fallen out we would have eventually got promoted. Grimes was already on our radar and we had Rudoni and EMC already in the building. Adi I feel was the key, and I believe the Boro upturn is really helped by his presence. Robins at Stoke has a better coaching...

    Judging the Frank Lampard change

Lampard certainly said early on that our players were not fit enough. Think that is why in his early games with us we could not sustain a high press for very long and he had to tweak the tactics. Injuries also didn't help at that time.
