How anyone can say 500k for Gael is a good deal is beyond me... Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain had one good season in league 1 at Gaels age and Arsenal bought him for what? £10m? If we sell Gael for nothing now then we are going to heavilly regret it when Newcastle are trying to fight off selling him...

He also gets told to hold back and pass sideways by the coaches and is being taught out of the way that he wants to play....does no-one remember the first few games of the season when he was doing step-overs and playing splitting through-balls...he has it all on his locker

If we sell him now....im pretty sure we will have been able to get 10x more than the amount Newcastle are preparing to give to us in a few seasons time, people are saying sell him for £1m and get some decent players..? It wont go back into the club. And for those saying he won't get through...

i, like alot of others on here know Gael quite well. Basically the situation is he wants to stay but if any kind of bid comes in for him he can't do anything about it and he will most likely be sold. He's a smart kid and knows if he goes to a team like Newcastle at the moment it might ruin him

I see quite a few of the youth players around and most of them say we will have a young squad again next season and there's lads in the academy being told that they will feature heavily next season :facepalm:

i would be actually pleased if we did sign him, he's full of confidence after getting promoted, only 21, already got a decent record at Ireland U21 and league 2 and he's a local lad

SISU are our owners. They have sold around 20 players in the last 18 months and replaced them with our academy, 2 goal keepers one striker and a couple of loans.
