Play about 4 times a week, over 50's walking football and a bit of social footy too for Sky Blues in the Community, great craic, good for fitness and mental health! I love it having turned 50 three years ago. We occasionally play in 7-a-side tournaments too.

I don't mind the early kick offs at weekends too much tbh, at least it's not a midweek match!

Fair play, we're making a whole weekend of it, being Bank holiday too. As you say, nice vibes akin to Brighton almost. We do need some recommendations though for boozer's tbh.

The white kit spoiler? Agreed, I think it's too plain, plus white doesn't suit me :unsure:;) The home kit is fab! Wouldn't mind a black away one though....either Blackout or just black tbh.

He was more so last season after Gus left, definitely made to play further forward by MR in some games at least. Anyway, we need a goal scoring CM is more my point and sheaf isn't that player. Perhaps Torp could step up this season? I still feel Browne would have been ideal for CM.

They are both Central midfielders, 'box to box' Browne has played attacking midfield, sure, but more recent seasons for PNE had played more CDefensive midfield/CM. So not 'totally different player's'. Anyhow, it's all pie in the sky as he's not our player 😔

It's a shame we didn't sign Alan Browne on a free, I feel he would have been ideal if Sheaf went. However, I don't believe we could/would have matched Sunderland in wages terms unfortunately.
