Need to make contact with the FL and challenge them as to the validity of the content of the e-mail. If its true then the FL have some explaining to do, if its false then we bounce that straight back to Mr walker and we do that in a public way.

If it is true, it certainly needs an explanation from the FL, and a proper one, not something that doesn't wash. All I'd say at the moment is let's find out the full facts first before we get the linch mob assembled :)

Absolutely Noggin, for me we need clarity because it will go a long way to seeing where the FL are sitting.

Lol, this one is totally off the scale of anything you could imagine. I was shown some evidence to suggest it was 100% accurate but even now im still not sure.

Tony, I think the point is, or the worry is, the FL ratify, the results are published then they say well it's too late now. We didn't know the fans objected that much. Or am I now being too cynical?

Totally understand your frustration but we need to get clarity before we point the finger. I heard another strange tale regarding the FL today that you really couldn't make up.

Ah I see, no someone at the start of the thread said it was bullshit. I've had brief exchanges with a few of the Trust board members and we will be getting clarity from the FL on this. It does seem a little strange if Mr Walker is telling the truth. However, it may be that the FL hasn't liked...

I was forwarded the e-mail a couple of hours ago. It's 100% true.

People always pick up on the wording, we said we were the largest supporters group once and someone said what about the JSB's so now we have to say "independent" :) Btw 4pm today may be a bit early to put something out ;)

London supports, welsh supporters, Irish supporters... And we are finding time, we will be at the Godiva festival all weekends, trust members are giving up their weekend to answer questions to anyone who hasn't joined, also non members can check out our website to learn about us and e-mail...

Psmg matters not one jot to me :) I think we're past the stage of asking non members of the trust why they are not members. It's wasting time that we don't have. The Trust have been as honest and open as they can be, have made some massive inroads into getting information out to the fans...

I hope Cov fans have got that time and date cleared in their diaries anyway. :) It takes a fair bit of planning having to talk to different parties because if there is a need for it to take place it would been to be done right. Once it is 100% confirmed that our first home game is being played...

Nick, you'd be quite surprised how far the trust is down the line with what has been suggested. This has been on our agenda for months. But it's obviously a last resort because the first option has to be the football team playing in the Ricoh that day. With regards to the protests, demos etc...

We did and done it, even made it a Saturday so it would be easier for fans, we took about 40 down because "we should protest in Cov" "it won't make any difference" "I'm washing my hair" in fact every excuse under the sun not to go. Then those same fans said it wasn't a success because only 40...

So which is it Nick? The trust to try to stop City playing at Northampton or to organise a big party at the Ricoh when they do?
