Sounds positive. We know he got a knock so hopefully a case of he could play if needed but with the international break coming up if we rest him today he’s got a couple of weeks to get back to 100% Much rather that than risking him and he ends up making it worse and being out for weeks.

Will we reach a point in the season when our fans actually have some confidence in the team? It was all ‘we always lose midweek’ & ‘would take a point’ on Wednesday and now people are worried about how good Sheff Wed are. That’s the team that are second from bottom and have won once all season...

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

If they get on the pitch, or worse get the game abandoned, when everyone has know the plans for weeks I suspect the authorities will take a dim view. Plenty of time to get prepared and have a plan of action. Not festival season now, be plenty of stewards they can bring in at short notice. Might...

They’ve won one game all season, haven’t been paid and don’t know if they will have jobs in the not too distant future. Don’t think we need to panic too much that Allen is playing.

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

Got to be honest, if someone had shot and killed a friend or relative of mine I probably wouldn’t be spending the weekend glued to the news and / or social media to see if anyone was protesting against genocide in Gaza. And even if I did not sure how you conflate the two things unless there’s a...

Should be more than enough in that side to beat them

Getting into away games without physical ticket

It very much depends on the ticket office. Assuming they use barcodes & scanners it’s technically very easy to cancel one ticket and reissue a new one. Will be entirely down to how cooperative they want to be. Can’t be the first time they’ve had someone turn up without their ticket.

    Things that annoy you

Place was not cheap for sure so someone was making money. They only ever seemed to employ one or two people, you could be queuing in there for hours on a Saturday.

Must they? I have concerns about immigration would you class me as an extreme right wing racist thug?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Haven't heard his conference speech yet, although if its anything like the others we've heard it will probably be a waste of time listening to it. Was there anything in there policy wise you didn't like or is it just him in general?

    Manchester synagogue attack

I read a piece just after the last general election here. It covered people of all ages and political persuasions and how they consumed news and obtained their 'facts'. It was a perfect illustration that the algorithm, no matter what platform you use, will serve up a constant feed of things...

    Manchester synagogue attack

tbh while I know everything has to be binary these days and 'pick a side' I don't really understand why its so hard to just accept that several things can be true at once. Its perfectly possible to believe that Al-Shamie is a complete and utter scumbag who thoroughly deserved to be shot while...

    Manchester synagogue attack

It was neither of those things. It was pre-planned with no set date. The date was if and when a specific event concerning the flotilla happened.

    Manchester synagogue attack

Probably worth pointing out that they didn't select Yom Kippur, or indeed plan for it to be specifically yesterday, it was planned for if and when Israeli forces illegally detained (or kidnapped depending how you want to phrase it) British citizens. There were of course also citizens from other...

    Manchester synagogue attack

The Mail, even by my very low expectations for them, are way off there. Just stoking more division which is the last thing we need. Telegraph not covering themselves in glory either. We see the same on here though, The first concern of many is who has or hasn't made a comment, how quickly...

    Manchester synagogue attack

Not really defence is it. The first mention was form yourself posting that people had decided to get their palensine flags out and celebrate a terror attack on a synagogue which clearly isn't the case.

    Manchester synagogue attack

there was a pre-planned series of protests around the country related to the flotilla as there are British citizens who have been taken in breach of international law by Israeli forces and despite requests by MPs whose constituents have been taken the government is refusing to acknowledge it...

    Manchester synagogue attack

We were told to get under the table which I'm not sure would have been hugely effective in the event of nuclear war. We were taught about what an air raid siren was and I'm 99% sure there was an air raid siren at some point when I was a teen. As for the IRA they definitely felt a threat. You...

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

I'm going to go with the one committing genocide, not sure how this is even a question.
