Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

Whips, sometimes you get told toe the party line or else. It's for the greater good. They get loads of pressure. Like at work where you sometimes do something you don't personally agree with. However you know life will become very uncomfortable for you if you rebel. Is my understanding.

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

I did and was just about to write to Simon asking for clarity as IMO that should ride above the council. The charity better get more than the 2 million SISU were offering them. But then Simon replied to another poster saying they don't know the detail.

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

Well there is a price then.... 30 million for a new stadium (at least) or I am sure SISU would be be able to negotiation a slightly better deal than as above to outmanoeuvre the wasp consortium. Say about 25 million over a prolonged period for all of ACL.

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

Yep lets hope they stop playing the games that has created this whole situation and step up to the plate and buy ACL.

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

I don't think it is, it's just it seems the west London one want to buy ACLand see that they can make a profit from doing so. Whereas the second one say this profit can only be done by building a new stadium. The hope is the second one is bluffing about a new stadium and will see off the...

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

I hope that most think it will finally be the thing that brings this sorry saga to a happy end once and for all. What most people want is SISU to stop playing games that benefit nobody and just keep hurting our club. That SISU match whatever offer the other consortium makes and finally the...

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

Did you not maintain that nobody else would ever be interested in buying ACL other than CCFC?

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

You shouldn't be shocked the charity have been saying it for years and did a deal with someone before but they didn't want to pay the agreed price I think.

which city manager did the worst job with the best squad?

Apparently your a bit mad for thinking that a bunch of players that over half went on to play in the Orem could have finished sixth ;)

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

I am still completely in shock at how anyone else is trying to buy ACL. After been told repeatedly for three years that as with with CCFC there is no one else and SISU are the only option. It will take a while for me to shake the brain washing. ;) In all seriousness I don't think a deal will...

    Why our crowds are awful

There was warm applause at half-time in Coventry's home defeat by Doncaster, the match that sealed City's relegation to the third tier of English football for the first time since 1964. But it was for the appearance on the pitch of the Sky Blues' 1987 FA Cup-winning squad, and it came in sharp...

............Westwood........... ........Ward..Turner..Dann.... J.Clarke. .......................Fox .............Tabb...Doyle . ..............Henderson........... ............Best....Morrison..... So this lot should not have been capable of challenging for sixth?

which city manager did the worst job with the best squad?

Elliot ward and Fox were involved in that season as well Both went in to play in the Prem A challenge for the top six was definitely a realistic proposition

COVENTRY (4-3-1-2): Westwood; Wright, Dann, Turner, Hall; Henderson, Doyle (Beuzelin 59min), Gunnarsson; Eastwood; Morrison, Best. Subs (not used): Marshall, Ward, Osbourne, McPake, Simpson, Thornton. 5-6 of these players played in the prem after leaving Cov 6th should have been a possibility
