    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

    Isn't he suspended indefinitely?

Playoffs not being shown on iFollow

It makes no sense to block games on iFollow that are on Sky or BT when its supposed to be a service only for those who are overseas.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Wasn’t the GLC scrapped over 30 years ago?

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

No club is going to employ hundreds of ticket office staff on the off chance there’s a big game at some point in the season.

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

I would assume it’s because disabled supporters have to buy at the ticket office. In the past the club have asked all other supporters to buy online and everyone has ignored them and turned up at the Butts. No reason the vast majority can’t buy online. It’s that way for so many events these days.

    Wasps current finances & hope

That seems to be the key. I think its debatable now much room for improvement there is in a lot of the other numbers. We're told business is fantastic and there are events practically every day. There will be a ceiling that will be reached and in my opinion they are pretty much at that. Given...

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

Leeds is the record, 28,184. Given we got 15K at the weekend with not a huge number of away fans if Notts bring 3 - 4K we must have a shot of beating that. Would be nice if the local media got behind it. That's when things snowball and suddenly everyone wants to go.

The difference in my eyes is that Wasps owner has moved the club halfway across the country because he couldn't or wouldn't keep covering losses. He started taking money back out as quickly as he could when they got here. That doesn't give the impression of someone who will cover losses year...

    They thinks its all Over

If they start flying in with tackles we need a couple of early yellows dished out.

It would more than likely be a prop co op co arrangement the same as most other clubs who are said to own their grounds. Even Fisher has said that would be the arrangement if a new ground was built. Of course the council could easily put restrictions in place. They discussed that in the past...

    Things that annoy you

Took the dog to the park this afternoon, when did the memorial become a car park? I don't mean the bits that are actually car parks obviously. There were cars parked the entire run of the park from Coat of Arms Bridge to where the park and ride is. Also you're not supposed to have BBQs there...

The Coventry vs Morecambe Fixed Match

I'm a paying customer and it didn't bother me in the slightest. Better option than messing it up and missing the play offs. Plus I managed to fit in an afternoon nap in the sun during the second half.

Obviously totally made up but lets say Linfield and SISU agreed a merger. The FL agree as having a team over there would be a good move from a business perspective. A ticket drive is done, similar to how they gauge interest in new franchises in the US and 15K commit to season tickets. You'd...

You could have just said we get 7.5% of the profit on the money we generate. The other 92.5% goes elsewhere.

    Wasps current finances & hope

A 250 year lease is the same as owning it to all intents and purposes. What state do you expect the stadium to be in by the end of the lease. How many PL or FL clubs are currently playing in 250 year old stadiums? Why would it be cheaper to build a new stadium. Look at the cost of building the...

    Wasps current finances & hope

That was exactly the plan. AEG, the worlds most successful venue operators, were taking on the complex and from what I am led to believe paying a license fee plus % to the club. We would also have retained all revenues generated on match days. TBH I think AEG would have ended up as our owners...

    Wasps current finances & hope

We owned HR and there's no reason that in the future we couldn't own our own stadium. Even the council were suggesting that, albeit they had already agreed to sell to Wasps when they were saying it. We also pay way over the top on matchday costs and don't get the money we generate. Yet again...
