    Most inspired signing ever

Despite shouting for Steve Ogrizovic, Stuart Pearce and Trevor Peake plus the valiant efforts of Stuart Robson to defeat injury......I also support the votes for George Boateng. Can I also put up Dean Emmerson from Rotherham....while in a Sky Blue shirt was tipped to replace Brian Robson in...

Trust: 6 Local Authorities say no discussions. Rugby say no.

I still cannot believe the risk SISU have took taking our club to Northampton, planning to build a new stadium without a land purchase in place. I still don't have any faith in this latest ripple of a development.

Won't confirm or deny or just not replied yet?

    Most inspired signing ever

Steve Ogrizovic had been collecting splinters at Liverpool...but it was Liverpool. Fantastic performer and servant to the club. For me the two joint winners are TREVOR PEAKE from Lincoln and STUART PEARCE from Wealdstone...both international class. An absolute pleasure to watch. A...

    Adam Barton

Not surprised, I think he has something to offer but perhaps not quite the type of player Pressley wants. I think Pressley still wants quite a small squad so everyone has to fit the profile.

Trust: 6 Local Authorities say no discussions. Rugby say no.

Anyone surprised that all these councils are saying no talks? No doubt the Sixfields faithful will still be living the dream. But they are entitled to their opinion. It does annoy me though that SISU are abusing some fans loyalty to the club.

    Rip ccfc?

Its already been discussed to death (pardon the pun) on other threads.

    Kevin Phillips

Yes, because it is not just what he can give on the pitch. You would think he would have a positive input on the training field and in the dressing room.

    How difficult is it.......

Friday night travel will be difficult if not impossible for some. But that is life. It's the young kids I feel sorry for who might have to miss their first opportunity to visit a club like Arsenal. I won't be travelling now due to work commitments. So my NOPM stays intact and I'll watch it...

    Kevin Phillips

He won't be coming to Coventry. A luxury we cannot afford, unfortunately.

    Football as it should be!

Fans don't often get a good press. So fair play to Bournemouth fans.

    Sheffers leaving Chesterfield

That is a valid opinion. This may not apply to you, but sometimes what fans value as average is more important to a teams performance than they realise. One toe poke into the net can make you a hero. 20 toe pokes into touch cutting out a wingers supply or taking the ball away from a play...

FAO: The Trust - Question about Q&A

That all seems to be reasonable predictions until the last sentence. Sixfields won't kill the club it will be SISU!

Andy Thorn favourite for the Kidderminster job

Did you ever meet him? Have you held a conversation with him? Heard him prepare a team in the dressing room or speak at half time? Witnessed one of his training sessions? Witnessed his organisational skills? Read one of his scouting reports? Sometimes football fans think they know a lot...

    Here is leon Clarke's record 2003–2007 Wolverhampton Wanderers 74 (13) 2004 → Kidderminster Harriers (loan) 4 (0) 2006 → Queens Park Rangers (loan) 1 (0) 2006 → Plymouth Argyle (loan) 5 (0) 2007–2010 Sheffield Wednesday 83 (18) 2007 → Oldham Athletic (loan) 5 (3) 2007–2008 → Southend...

    Sheffers leaving Chesterfield

He has a similar ratio to the one he had at Cov around 1 in 4. He offers more than just goals though. Cyril Regis had a similar ratio at Coventry and then Villa. But he also offered more than just goals.

So like me you are glad Brian pointed out that hidden layer of humour in Otis's joke ;-)

What do you prefer? Win the FA cup or get Promoted?

When I was growing up there were two must win trophies in England. League Champions (top division) and the FA Cup. Sorry but promotion by the back door from the third tier didn't feature in the esteem stakes.

9 in 22 this year 13 in 29 including last year at the Gills. Not a bad return.
