I mean if they wanted to avoid discussions, they could have just sold it back to the club, and not Ashley...the thick fuckers!

    Cov Rugby 2024 - 2025

I see that odious piece of scum, Stephen Vaughan who was Chief Exec at Wasps as they imploded, is now Chief Exec at Worcester. I hope he does the same job again, considering the disgusting way Worcester have been parachuted into the league, with debts galore in their wake. I hope we stuff them...

    Congratulations England women

Good win, and they have defended the title which is a fantastic achievement. I just cant enjoy it though, having been a huge advocate of girls and women's football for years, the poor way my daughter was treated at a Women's Super League teams academy has destroyed my enthusiasm. I'm not...

    Viktor Moving on

Every time I read Rio Ferdinand's assessment that he's watched Viktor play three times and in his view he isn't good enough, the more it reminds me how shit Ferdinand's opinion is on this.

What decade did you start supporting Coventry?

Born early 70’s so went naturally started in the 70’s and saw some fantastic players at that time. First season ticket when I was 10, the year we turned all seater, and Dave Sexton was the manager. Got to see Leeds fans at their finest that season, when we beat them 4-0 and they decided they...

    Things that annoy you

My PTSD annoys me. Its something we don't often talk about, despite MH being a more approachable topic these days. I'm sure I'm not alone, and it annoys me as it creeps into my head sometimes and takes over, leading to anxiety over certain things other people may find easy.

Who was in goal the furst game you saw ?

Jim Blyth I think, he was a quality keeper. I always preferred him to Sealey.

Greg Downes joined the Police in Norfolk. Jim Holton who sadly died too young, ran the Rising Sun Pub.

Players who we signed but never played in the First Team (or played just one game). Go !

For those older fans, I recall a loan player Tommy Langley playing for us in the early 80's, I think Bobby Gould was manager in his first stint. I think he played either one or two games, and that was too many.

Players who have played for us twice in their career (not loans) GO!

Although he didnt technically leave us, Steve Hunt in 1982 went on loan to New York Cosmos and then came back to play for us after

That’s brought back a few memories…I think Pressley scored in a 3-2 loss at home to Man Utd. I remember Dobson scoring a goal in a 3-1 friendly against(I think) Banik Ostrava but can’t recall his league goal. Again I could be wrong but recall Billing scoring a screamer in a 3-0 win at Sheff Utd...
