    Villa anyone?

It is a strange selection process which team you support. I know one bloke who moved to Coventry from Scotland when he was 20 and he was a very loyal city fan (now sadly passed away). I have met loan Man City fans in families that support United. I have met loan Everton fans in Liverpool...

    What happened to Haskell?

    Yeah Neanderthal Man.

    Next Season

Yes the protest stuff does get tiresome. But so do all the what if threads. To much to discuss about the remainder of this season yet. Our next 3 games could really be the difference between a healthy top ten Finnish or another City relegation battle.

    Villa anyone?

When I was growing up it wasn't always about school friends supporting glory teams I.e. Newcastle and Sunderland. A lot of people followed teams because their father followed that team. A lot of kids were first generation Coventry kids as parents had come here for work. Families had greater...

    What happened to Haskell?

A classic case of Stockholm Syndrome.

    Callum back in training

Still 2-3 weeks away from playing. Patience with that one.

When is this experienced striker coming?

After County Baker does not deserve to play at all at the moment, yes give another player a chance. It was a shirt surrendering performance. Give the armband to Webster or Fleck.

Petition For No Ban For City Fan

Nick "he can go back to kicking off outside Sixfields" not only has he got the persons identity wrong he doesn't understand football banning orders. They normally mean not only can you not enter a ground on a match day you can't go within a certain radius of it. One reason why the Coventry...

    Villa anyone?

I think you are the one off topic if you think this thread was started about two fans going to Villa. It is about how playing at Sixfields is affecting fans and how over time it could affect our fan base. The Villa trip is just an example Nick. "Desperate times desperate measures" The...

    graham westleys big idea

It was a really good honest unbiased appeal. The importance of football to fans in a community. Saying other fans should not be complacent it could be their club next, it's important to support this enquiry. Nobody should have their team taken out of their traditional area even on a...

    Villa anyone?

I've been in the Holte End watching Coventry. Home ends at Everton and Wolves. Depends who you are with and how you celebrate I suppose. But I've never had a problem.

Froch v Groves at the Ricoh?

Clashed with mud wrestling at Sixfields.

    Villa anyone?

It's nothing to do with being true sky blue whether you don't go in or whether you do go in. Going to or boycotting Sixfields is an individual choice, based on the individuals take on our current situation. The choice to go will be based on a range of reasons depending on the individual. Just...

    Villa anyone?

I know loads of kids, including me, who supported other teams when they were 7-10 years. Once they were old enough to to Highfield Road support for Coventry took over. Not all kids grow up with football loving parents who feel duty bound to take them to games.

It's been a Sixfields thread from the first post Nick!

So you have never been to Villa Park even to follow City? Because you said no matter the circumstances?

    Other Sports

Ah yes, the sport of sticking pins in your eyes! Never understood why it hasn't been an Olympic event. Needs more funding no doubt.

    Villa anyone?

There is a big difference between going to watch a team and supporting them, as opposed to I fancy going to a game of football. I have been to games as a neutral many times and here are a few samples Man U v Tottenham, Birmingham v Leicester, Man City v Oldham, Sheff Wed v Tottenham...
