Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bolton Wanderers Match Thread - Saturday 8th Feb

Fine thanks, Reg. Still have to go once a month for check-ups and stuff, though I have to go another couple of times this month as I have to have loads of scans on different bits and pieces. Just to make sure nothing nasty is present. So far, so good.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bolton Wanderers Match Thread - Saturday 8th Feb

I'm sure I'm not the only one who had major problems on the A45 the other night, queueing just before the Airport for half an hour or so. Well, I had to go to Heartlands this morning for my monthly check and I'm pleased to say both lanes were open, so we shouldn't have the same issues. Also...

Some of our fans are garbage

No, I don't agree. I just think they are twats. Most of them probably don't even go.

    Stadium

Agree, but my point was we could have improved HR quite easily. We didn't have to leave.

    Stadium

Highfield Road didn't need expanding. Just modernising. The new East Stand was excellent. They could have done that to the other three sides eventually and we could have had a great stadium. Richardson's ego had other ideas unfortunately.

    IKEA Closing in Coventry

Yes, when we were in the on Saturday, there were quite a few Brummy families there. It's always packed with students too, kitting out their flats, etc. A massive blow to the city this.

    IKEA Closing in Coventry

Bit of a blow that. We go there quite often, was there on Sunday getting a few bits and pieces. It will be a big blow to Coventry too and the city centre. The timing isn't great either what with the city of culture thing. The City centre will be even more of a ghost town.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

No they wouldn't. Strange though that a white 'working class' male like yourself would believe everything spoon-fed to them by a bunch of Old Etonians and bankers.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

As do we all from time to time. One thing I did agree with though is if you run a company and you have to lay people off because of Brexit then lay off the people who voted leave first. Seems fair.

The cry "freedom of speech" usually translates to complaining they aren't allowed to spout their racism.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Quite a few prominent Brexiteers have been posting similar tweets to these. All of them conveniently forget to mention the transition period. That matters not to the uninformed who, decided by Saturday lunchtime Brexit was a great success. Anyone saying anything to the contrary was part of...

    No New Signings

Interesting Robins' stating he got a call the other day saying Bright was interested in coming back!

Can't argue, I think Shipley and Westbrook look a little tired, but we have Jamie Allen on the bench, he was our marquee signing in the summer and he's looked great every time he has played. I think we are pretty much OK.

    Nah, Bright surely trumps those?
