    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

The vision of Northampton, Exeter, Wycombe etc. players walking out to fireworks, flares and cheerleaders. Har har.

    70s 80s 90s

Technically I know you’re right. I just remember going to see Oasis, Blur and Republica in a weedy haze in my late teens. Good times.

    70s 80s 90s

2000ish - 2010ish for me. Aged 15 to 25. Nowte but mates, women, football and going out out. Films were great and gangster rap was on fire. Back end of Britpop and good indie stuff in actual charts based on sales. TV saturated in sarcasm (watching back Simon Amstel on Popworld and he was...

    Mason-Clark

Somehow, a front four of EMC, Wright, Simms and Saka has to be out best attacking line up.

    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

My points have gone on 🫡 but I’m now 20 points short of the esteemed 1200 club. Looks like I’ll have to do it on a cold rainy Tuesday in Stoke to get back in.

There will be at least three courtesy of me, my daughter and her uncle 🫡

    The Nationwide £100

Ours is £275 a month and that barely makes a dent in the debt 🤣 but I refuse to go up to their proposed £350 and remain hopeful the price drop and summer months see it come down. I do have a plug in hybrid and three kids in device heavy bedrooms. Plus I work from home. But our bill still seems...

    The Nationwide £100

Im eligible again. Might hold onto it until December and treat the family to three days of central hearing.

    Flying

I nearly passed out buying our flights for Florida for the six weeks in august. Haven’t been for 10+ years. Economy class too. Staggering tbh.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Unless you work for yourself you of course have the option of bringing a claim against your employer. Not a given but if they’ve failed in their duty of care RE your workplace stress etc. I hope things improve.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Of course. It would need to be case by case. But for sure if you get in there early enough you could potentially take plenty of people away from a life of crime. Anecdotal but I know two lads personally who would have thrived in the military rather than spending ten years in and out with a...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Ridiculous stuff. Although I would suggest paid national service as an alternative to a criminal record/prison term for offenders (non sex crimes) aged 18-30. Bit of direction to get them back on track and help the prison overcrowding issue.

    Haji Wright

Biased but surely no defence in this league will fancy lining up against a front four of EMC, Wright, Simms and Saka. If we can just get the defence right…

    Things that annoy you

Anyway what’s been annoying me lately is voice notes in lieu of text messages. Most notably my teenage daughter. Apparently the effort required to write out a text message is too much now.

    Things that annoy you

Our bank were relentless with checks. Even required a signed declaration from my step dad who “gifted” us a few quid (I have since paid back) that he hadn’t lent the money from anywhere himself and he didn’t want it back.

Stephen Warnock - Under the Cosh

    Boxing 2024

Fair does. All about opinions. I’ve only scrolled Twitter briefly but Stan Collymore, Tony Bellew, Adam Catterall and Simon Jordan all have Usyk as clear winner. Collymore aside, that’s a relatively sage collection of views. But if the actual judges didn’t unanimously agree what hope do we have...

    Boxing 2024

Yeah I knew you meant the judges. I just thought a bit rich from Fury given the treatment from the ref. Although you could argue Usyk had similar help against Dubios.

    Boxing 2024

Ironic as it seemed the ref gave him a 20 second count all the way to the bell when he was seeing stars and standing only by virtue of the ropes.

    Boxing 2024

Superb performance by Usyk who doesn’t get enough credit. If he was English we’d be talking him up as a great. So good. Right result but at a loss how one judge gave it to Fury. I expect him to win the rematch.
