    Coventry were away at Liverpool and Manchester City for the Sporting Cup games.

    I went to both games Tranmere and Peterborough and they drew very good crowds...one cup game, I can't remember which, Coventry were away at Middlesborough and I think most fans went to watch Sporting. The Peterborough game did get a good gate for sure.
