    Papering the crowd?

Walsall (£18.50), Fleetwood (£17), Crawley (£18) and Swindon (£18). We charge £22 We need to get that down for the one off ticket price in order to try and encourage people to come off the back of Mowbray

    Papering the crowd?

You went to watch a franchised club? Not that I am judging you? Can't remember your stance on franchising did it bother you or were you one on the ones who would attend wasps if it interested you?

    Papering the crowd?

The atmosphere was amazing, the footy wasn't. I completely agree exciting football would have got 15k for the next match. If we had lost I think we would have got 8-9k like now so the win would have had an effect. I just hope TM does play attractive footy and when he does. We do a free...

    CET coverage fair

Observation not trolling CCFC are the main story now all over the CET. For that reason alone we are currently the main story. When Wasps do something more interesting they will be the main story. It's bugger all to do with some crazy conspiracy that the CET are in bed with the council and Wasps

    Papering the crowd?

For me anything Sixfields related was quite straight forward and proven by the recent accounts. The less Cov fans that went to Sixfields made a massive point and hurt SISU in a way not expected. It was not sustainable with the FFP rules. Not attending was the most effective thing fans could do...

    Papering the crowd?

I know and I do point that out when I hear it. However is that not if you commit to so many games. Obviously it's ok with the season ticket. However if they are despondent like they clearly are. They would need an incentive to test the water. If they enjoy it again and rekindle their passion...

    Papering the crowd?

If Wasps had come in here expecting that they would get 10k plus fans without such campaigns then it would be desperation. However they have done this from the beginning of their tenure. So it was planned for and is not desperation. What did interest me though in terms of potential concern...

    Papering the crowd?

Because people are suggesting CCFC should do the same. In order to try and rebuild the fan base. I have heard a lot of people saying they won't or can't afford to pay 18-22 quid for what's been delivered this season. Have TM's first game free if we play this attractive brand of football who...

    Papering the crowd?

Very sensible marketing. Firstly increase the support for your team on the day. Secondly some will stick. Even if it's one in twenty who become regular paying customers it will be worth it. CCFC should have considered whether they can do it for TM's first home game.

    CET coverage fair

To the drama queens ranting that Wasps were getting all the coverage in the CET. Currently CCFC are grabbing all the headlines and Wasps are the side story. That's what happens if you generate the greater news CCFC sacking their manager Employing a new manager Filing their accounts...

Tony Mowbray and the Coventry City players out of contract in the summer

The future is the academy as the first team. Trying to increase their value whilst supplemented by a sprinkling of loan players. If that is going to be the case invest in the academy and put it as a top status not second top.

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

You must then think that, that is more beneficial to us than actually buying ACL like Wasps did. I would suggest the hook or crooke effectively ruled us out of owning ACL.

    In the interests of balance.........

Simon in light of the accounts. Could you please explore how it is financially feasible to build a new stadium and what our debt levels would look like under the club's plans for the stadium.

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

You say bias if they had wiped the 60 million and were 10 million in debt I was about to believe they are going to build a new stadium! However they are 46 million in debt. Also I think it is rising. You said outmanoeuvred the council, do you honestly believe that, the way this has panned out...

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

Yes you are right it will cost less now than when we were at sixfields. The debt will still be rising though. With the Wasps deal and failed JR's I don't think SISU's actions could every be considering outmanoeuvring anyone but themselves.

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

From the headline it suddenly became feasible to me. If we had 10-20 million debt I could just about see how it may work. New stadium + investment in team 50-60 million debt. Get near the plays off for the prem sell the dream 60-80 million. Starting at 40-50 million debt and then going up to...
