    Sundays Remembrance arm bands

I went to Sundays Remembrance ceremony. I go every year, I enjoy the occasion and the opportunity to reflect. I didn't wear a poppy on Sunday, but really did that make any difference on me paying respect and remembering?

    Wasps do have the veto

We are in this mess not because of the CCC. As a club we mismanaged our move from Highfield Rosd to the Ricoh, a move the club needed to make. SISU have come in and in 7 years have failed to address or rectify the matter, in fact they have made a complete pigs ear of it. They have mismanaged...

    Sundays Remembrance arm bands

Its not a rotter, it is a lot on here who complain when fans turn out for games like Crewe and Arsenal. They are just glory hunters? My take it is people who want to see a successful club who demand a certain level of performance and endeavour. They choose to re attend when they think...

How has Pressley lost the dressing room?

because a few jumped on the fact Johnson did his captains bit along with Nouble in the dressing room the other week...endorsing the point SP was making. Some saw it as them taking over rather just taking the cue to kick a bit of ass and gee a few up. We need a few more voices in the dressing...

I thought this had already been made clear and discussed on another thread...ACL Chairman asked to resign

    Sundays Remembrance arm bands

Dont bring sex and appendages into it! I can also remember a time when attending a football match to support your local team was voluntary....now it is an exercise in blind patriotism and a competition to be the most loyal fan who never criticises the owners.

Worrying aspect from last Sundays game

I think that is how the players approached the game, dismissive of Worcestershire players and position. Then found themselves out battled and couldn't get the game back. Too many of our players just haven't got the stomach for the graft and application you need to be winners.

    ACL chairman forced to resign

I think a 50/50 could be difficult to work with. But that is why I felt, if SISU really wanted a 50 share, they should have been locked in negotiations with Wasps. Really trying to sell what they could bring to the table and how such a partnership would benefit Wasps. Any right to veto...

    Crowd for Wednesday?

Count my dogs out...but they would boss the midfield; the bill for replacement balls could be hefty thought!

    The misfits myth

Barton and Thomas have played around 90 professional games each. That equates, allowing for injuries and loss of form, to three seasons worth of experience each. Plus they have been brought up to play football at a professional level so have other game/life experience to draw off. No excuses...

    The misfits myth

As I have posted on other threads Grendel, we have youth and inexperience but we are not an inexperienced team. we have plenty of experience. What we lack is application, attitude and professional development. Is that due to the ownership and corporate organisation? Is it the manager? Is it...

    FAO the 'Pressley Out' brigade

"Fair post. Pressley has had 3 teams in his spell here. I know many refer to the last calendar year but that's probably unfair. His new team haven't performed this season but should be considered in isolation from what went before. " Fernandopartridge. I like both these posts and they display...

    FAO the 'Pressley Out' brigade

Fans pay their money and they want success. Their loyalty breeds frustration. They are often poor judges of performance and real progress. Because they never get to see the whole picture. But aside from that how many have management experience themselves? Successfully developed a...

    2014 so far all competitions

Who thought Sillett would win us the FA Cup? who thought Shankley would set Liverpool up as a European force? Manchester United fans thought Ferguson wasn't good enough because he had only managed the likes of St Mirren and Aberdeen (despite European success)? Who thought Brian Clough would...

    Whos fault is it.

The owners set the tone and the environment. They design the business stratergy. Ultimately they employ the people to make their strategy work. No one else can be blamed, they hold corporate responsibility for the shape the club is in.
