Match Thread ⚽️ Wigan Athletic vs Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 14th Mar

We're leaving Warwick about 3.30. Should give us plenty of time to get there as the M6 is obviously the big issue. We're parking in the Asda, WN5. Only a fiver.

They won too, so Blaine will be playing a SF at Hampden vs Cally Thistle. They have a decent chance of getting to the final.

Talking of our youngsters. I'm watching the Falkirk-Ayr QF on BBC Scotland. Blaine Rowe is on loan to Falkirk. He's having a good game and is more than capable of playing men's football.

I'm still not sure about Eccles. Doesn't impress me too much at all. Think his distribution is pretty average. Great saving tackle in the box though on Saturday.

I'd play Maguire. Hawley was poor, too lightweight. We need points, so would only use him as a sub if we were in a comfortable position.

We've got our tickets, so looking forward to this one. Huddersfield was certainly worth the trip, so hopefully Wigan will be too. Oddly though, I had to collect the tickets after the game on Saturday as I apparently I hadn't paid for postage. Looked like I had, but didn't quibble too much as...

Probably. Then the gammons will be up in arms over a woman fronting a football show. There is always something to be outraged about.

Of course it is, spot on. While the media and social media obsesses about G, then the plebs will soon forget about the shit state of our country, failing NHS, highest energy prices in Europe, rising Interest rates, food prices and inflation. The Tories will be loving this.

Exactly, Tony. It is the climate the Tories are creating, a classic 'them' and 'us' situation....'they come in their boats...which means you won't be able to get a doctors appointment....won't get housing....', etc. The language used by Braverman such as "invasion" is lapped up by...

    Songs We No Longer Sing

Funnily enough I was watching the Inverness- Killie game last night and the home fans sung a lot of the same songs as we do, changed to suit though, of course.

Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Blues! The old King song. Sang that for a while mid 80s.

    What Was Your…

Remember an away match Mid 80s. Sure it was Easter Monday. We went to Ipswich away. On the way we stopped at a Little Chef (younger readers should Google it). There were some well-dressed blokes a couple of tables away and it turns out they were directors - they had CCFC blazers on, no idea...
