    Funniest SBT Poster?

Yeah - forgot about you Otis (though your avatar makes me think of Robert Winston?!)

    Funniest SBT Poster?

I'm not sure if it's Lord Summerisle's wit or his avatar (maybe a mixture of the two) - but he can be amusing. Hill makes me smile - though has grumpy spells (time of the month?) Deano's quizzes keep me sane between repetitive squabbles amongst pro and anti you know whom. I'll leave it there for...

    Vale Park

These are the little things that Jimmy Hill used to like to pick up on - little aspects to give an advantage to the team. I can still remember David Ginola looking incredulous when Jimmy said he thought the Rumanian players had an advantage when they'd all dyed their hair (yellow or red?) for a...

    Carl Baker

I thought we didn't use the width as well as we might - Cyrus seemed a bit more subdued in the second half, though there were a few hospital balls played to him. Thought Blair Adams crossing was average at best and we seemed to be more sloppy in the second half as they presses us. Thought Micky...

    Ugly Vale

Was it me, or did that ref realise he'd forgotten how to write for most of the game? He let everything go. On another day Blair Adams would have been sent off, although it was mainly their hatchet men taking liberties(and I can't blame them, 'cos he kept letting them).

Port Vale Fans Forum - CCFC

MMMMmmmmmmm ? I'm sure there are some and the chairman deserves a big thank you. However..........although our fans are hardly all shrinking violets, there was a disproportionate percentage of numpties amongst their following and I'd love to see the average life expectancy of people around...

A bit of Fun - name this ex city player

    Can't defend for shit tbh

Also frustrating, because they were very average. One strategy, which they got right in second half - pump it in and get second ball. First half we look a class better than them, without being clinical enough.

    Ugly Vale

Spot on mate, it really was like a time warp experience - like an 'Ashes to ashes' episode. Stopped outside an offy at at some traffic lights, and Social Services would have had a field day with the locals hanging around the street there. Not too many GCSEs knocking about!

    So, Port Vale

Same team - assuming nothing re: result. Settle for unbeaten run to continue, but fingers crossed for 3 points. Should be cracking atmosphere (my mate got us 3 tickets from P Vale website last night) PUSB

The wheels have dropped off this one, Stu - so to get it moving again. Are you over 50?

Dan Walker (Ticketing Manager) goes to Villa

    Save our Steve

Bonus point to that man. Used to whistle through those dodgy teeth every time hr went near an 's'. Isn't Darren Ferguson doing a good job at Peterborough?

    Save our Steve

Tongue in cheek. But, I reckon one if not all of Bolton, Sheff Utd and Bristol City will be after new managers in the next few days or weeks. To try and keep our Mr Pressley off the radar, I'm starting this thread to extol the virtues of other up and coming managers. You lot are more...

    2046

Shmmeee = you forgot to allow for Timmy's 7 sell outs (2 of which will have to include giving all the 'spare' seats to Wolves fans and Peterborough (who will see it as a local derby, groundwise). The other 5 sell outs are obviously our cup run when after beating Man U, we trounce Arsenal...

Yeah, 'cos he said so. The place was rammed, according to some of a certain persuasion! :thinking about:;)

    Match thread vs Gillingham

Yes - thought that was a bit odd - it was implying a degree of misbehaviour - felt a bit negative (he would say 'just reporting facts')
