Largest attendances at a Coventry game

I thought it was the Charity Shield in 87 when we took 50K. Memorable for me only because of Speedie's debut and that ace yellow and blue away kit. Can't remember anything else about the day at all.

Wasps go to bottom of the pyramid

My lad loves NBA. We've been to a few BBL games in Leicester and Worcester. I played for my school basketball team from 79-82 and we used to see Team Fiat a lot. We went to Wembley Arena on a school trip once to see them. It was a Cup Final, can't remember what now though after all these...

    Boro fan in peace....

When we went up on Bank Holiday Monday for the league match, I parked my car in the Premier Inn car park. Car pulls up next to me and this guy in a Middlesborough top gets out and says, "good luck, I'm from Rugby". His Dad was from Boro so he was a lifelong fan. He told me how to find the...

    Travelling Down

I guess you could come over here and travel from Warwick or Leamington. These are the prices from Leamington/Warwick. Train goes to Marylebone then you have to change to go back up the line to Wembley.

    Travelling Down

Yeah, at least on the coach you're guaranteed a seat. We had to stand all the way back from QPR last month as the train was packed.

    Travelling Down

We're Warwick I know, but £30 return for me and my lad, although admittedly I've put he's 15 rather than 17. Did that for the QPR game.

    Potential retained list

I know we're not there - and might not make it - but it must be awful for players who, over the years, have fought for their shirt to get their club promoted only to be let go and deemed "surplus to requirement", basically, not good enough for a higher level. The way of the world, I guess.
