    Saturday, 3pm, Jimmy's Statue

Solution to that is to follow it up with something else with more numbers. This seems to have started bringing people together so lets hope the likes of the trust see that and build on it. For example why not organise a CCFC event for a Saturday in the summer. Again something non...

    Saturday, 3pm, Jimmy's Statue

At 24 hours notice with little support from the trust and no media coverage. Compared to the numbers on the last trust protest that was planned weeks in advance and was all over local media its not bad. Sure it would have been great if hundreds, or even thousands, of people had turned up but...

You've got to laugh, they're so desperate for people to attend they're trying to give free tickets to people protesting!

Did Lord Mayor Councillor John Blundell, former leader of Coventry Conservatives pop along?

When he says shifted presume he means given away as it would be a bit odd for only 85% of those who purchased tickets to turn up. By the looks of things a lot more found something better to do.

The Ball Is In The Wasp Court

Will happen anyway. If we're not playing there they'll lose all that trade. Sure they're well aware of that and have raised it with Wasps.

The Ball Is In The Wasp Court

Once again we've been massively let down by the local media who allow Eastwood and Wasps to fire out statements yet fail to question them. As soon as their statement was released people were point out it was impossible for the club or its owners to stop the EC investigation. Why are the local...

    Wasps pull out...

Certainly seems that the more you read about the differences between the way these things are handled in the UK and EU the more you can see why Wasps and the council are desperate for it to not progress.

    Wasps pull out...

Quite possibly but that was for Wasps lawyers to sort out at the time. If they decided it wasn't possible and took the risk anyway its not on to then look to the football club to bail them out.

    Wasps pull out...

Surprised me as well, certainly didn't expect SISU to sign up for anything like that.

    Wasps pull out...

Maybe they'll apply it to everything going forward. Lets say the Wasps manager gets done for drunk driving and get a couple of years inside, we could send Robins along to do his time.

    Wasps pull out...

Can pretty much guarantee that conversation isn't talking place but again its a question the local media should be asking of Wasps. Why are you expecting CCFC to indemnify you and not CCC who, in the event of a payout having to be made, be the organisation at fault. Not to mention asking why...

    Wasps pull out...

For that to happen CCC would have to be found to be in the wrong, possibly along with Wasps as well. If that's the case surely the blame is on them not SISU? And if they aren't found to be in the wrong the EC will chuck it out and no harm done to Wasps.

    The Next Statement

You don't understand what is actually happening do you? I'd suggest reading up on the process that will be followed should the EC decide the complaint warrants an investigation. Wasps laid out the terms they deemed acceptable for talks and a new deal. Those terms were met. Wasps then changed...

Of course not Nick, the two things are completely unrelated.

    The Next Statement

If the EC find no case to answer it won't progress. There will be no cost to Wasps and no implications for Wasps. If the EC find their is a case to answer it will be for the council to defend not Wasps. If wrongdoing is found surely every taxpayer would support the recovery of money owed to the...

    The Next Statement

No, and nowhere have I said that. Why was it obvious what the reaction of Wasps would be? Wasps laid down conditions for talks and the club / SISU met them. As a CCFC fan I want the club to play in the city so obviously aren't happy with anything that jepordieses that. But as has been stated...

    The Next Statement

Nobody can be that stupid. Does he seriously think in court cases the judge goes through every statement made line by line and gives an individual ruling on the validity of the statement?
