Just catching up on the fun and games on twitter. Seems Gilbert thinks Wasps are perfectly right to ask the club to cover any financial costs!

Agents just want the upfront payment and the cut of a big contract. They couldn't care less if they're setting the players up for failure and ruining their careers.

Has he been blocked from the Observer website as well? Maybe we could block Gilbert and the Telegraph from viewing this forum, where would they get their stories from then? Wasps return to threats to kick out Coventry City from Ricoh Arena – after two-year tenancy had been agreed in secret talks

    The Ricoh..

Linnell said he’d spoken to Northampton and they were happy to groundshare again. Like him or not he works for BBC Northants so it’s highly likely his info is correct.

    The Ricoh..

If they’d gone with a stadium at the NEC rather than redeveloping the Alex I could def see us and Brum sharing it. Don’t think a permanent move to the Alex is on the cards but then I didn’t think we’d play in Northampton.

    The Ricoh..

If we’ve gone from heads of terms agreed to 80% there we’re going backwards aren’t we? Is this anything more than guesswork from Gary Newbon and the Telegraph. It’s a no lose situation for them. End up at the Ricoh they can claim it’s a last minute deal, end up at a groundshare they can claim...

The PSB group said Boddy contacted them to ask that there was no trouble at the protest as it might impact talks with Wasps.

    UEFA / FIFA

They will just say it was the decision of the player and club not UEFA. Instead of leaving him out Arsenal should have forced the issue and said they won’t play at all if their players aren’t safe. Even better if the other English teams also refused to play, UEFA would have to address the...

They would be crazy to agree to that. Why should they pay up of Wasps and / or the council are found to be in the wrong?

Funny how when challenged he’s said it’s not for him to give an opinion. What is suggesting CCFC cover any future financial implication for Wasps if not his opinion?

Their manager was in the Scottish papers saying they were going everything they could to sign him. Made it sound like the hurdle was the amount Reading wanted and the size of his wages.

    Godiva

There's not in Finham and Stivichall though. Bad enough already when its on and zero effort from the council to do anything about people who have parked blocking driveways and entrances. Charging people £10 to park will just make it once unless they bring in temporary restrictions.

The only variable is if Wasps continue to receive rent and other revenues from CCFC. Nothing else can be changed.

Incredible stuff. GB win their final game in overtime to avoid relegation and send France down. The first time in history GB have played in the top division and not been relegated.

Need more detail than that? What assurances can the football club provide? The complaint is now out of the hands of the club or its owners. If they mean they want the football club to cover any financial implication if the council and / or Wasps are found to be in the wrong there's no way the...

Editor of the Telegraph does the same, completely ignoring the fact that there's still people that assume everything in the CT is factually correct. There's people that don't even read the articles they will just throw things at you that were headlines. Surely if journalists are doing nothing...

Surely that's exactly what you say? A couple of people on a forum with 24 hours notice managed to put something together which got media coverage and a meeting with Nick Eastwood.
