Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

Anyone else meet Mo Konjic there? He was wandering about the concourse in his sky blue suit having a whale of a time

    Well done everyone

In 127 there was a brief something where the stewards had to step in and separate two people but it seemed like just a bit of shouting that hadn't got as far as anything physical. Apart from that the closest I saw to any offence the whole day was a few fairly brazenly walking to their seats with...

This years loans and signings and how they performed

I think he just had a more established and reliable player in front of him rather than it being an issue with JWE.

    Breaking News!

I'm not seeing the stagnation considering we've been moving higher up the league system every year

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

As it was the other side of the ground we were sure it was off the ball but couldn't make out what had happened, I thought he'd turned his ankle or something as there wasn't the panic I'd expect to see with a collapse like that. Glad he seems to be ok

    Breaking News!

Every player who takes penalties has missed them. Once you get deeper into a shootout you're getting towards the players who you wouldn't usually rely on, but he at least stepped up.

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

It was weird seeing quite a lot of Luton fans leaving at the same time as us. If ever there's a time to hang around after the final whistle

    Feeling Sick & Downright Depressed

I'm focusing on Luton, lost in the semis of a playoff they weren't expected to reach and then won it the next year. If they can do it, no real reason we can't

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

I thought Bidwell would be higher up the list just because he gets involved with set pieces. I thought Dabo was going to miss but to be honest I was expecting everyone to just because shootouts are fucking arseholes

    Play off final ratings

Sheaf the best player for me, looked the most comfortable and seemed to eventually have a calming influence on others

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

I was away for the L2 game but I've seen us win in the Checkatrade and I've been in the Blackpool end for their Champ playoff win so I'm clearly a good omen, and if we win I would like to be invited on the pitch to soak up the glory, Michael Folivi style.

    Wolverhampton Ubers

One positive about Uber is that the vetting process for drivers is clearly strict, I assume it's company policy that you must forget both the highway code and how to drive.

    Of Mice and Men

After reading Of Mice and Men I got a few more by him, Tortilla Flat, Cannery Row, Grapes of Wrath and a collection of short stories. Only read the short stories but they're all on the waiting list. I did also get Go Set A Watchman but finding out it was an early draft never intended to see the...

    Of Mice and Men

I've read it a while ago and there's obviously a bit of harsh language and attitudes and the like but it's all part of the story and none of it either glorifies or celebrates racism, it's more just a part of life in the story which is surely something that can be discussed and explained when...

    Of Mice and Men

I think having it optional rather than mandatory is the best way to go and certainly wouldn't ban it. I don't like how this girl has become a lightning rod for abuse by people who appear to have never read a book in their lives but that's Twitter for you I suppose

To beer or not to beer, that is the question

If the laws in this country allowed you to drink in your seat it may be different but I've never drank at football, can't be arsed with the limited time window and then having a relay to the toilet and back during the game. More or less teetotal now by accident anyway so never been that bothered
