7th ! Yet we were 8th bottom. If we were anywhere near 7th in the league, our attendance would increase and, if the two are linked, we would "deserve" to be play offs at the absolute least. Our fans get such a rough ride. We haven't had anything to cheer about for years. Just read the thread...

what have the fans done ? 8th bottom of league one, yet 7th most amount of fans at home games !! If anything, we are overachieving in terms of bums of seats. Its not the fans fault !

    To Stay or Go

No. Coventry is our home and we should own the Ricoh. Clearly this isnt viable, but thats not the question

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

People dont stay over when they visit a city to watch a sporting event, but they do stay over when they are attending NEC ?

4th cheapest STs in the league....

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

I checked online when the last Wasps "home" game was on, and there was only the Ibis in the city centre that had any rooms. Many home fans of any sporting team live outside that city, meaning they often stay (me included). When i stay, i go out for a meal, get a taxi to the train station etc...

4th cheapest STs in the league....

4th cheapest seats....8th worst team (according to league status) ticket price isnt the main issue for many people

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

care to respond grendal, you said it was nonsense, yet havent debated how a mear 250,000 bums on seats wouldnt in no way add to the local ecomony

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

not sure of the numbers (i am sure you will tell me), but even at 16,000 per game thats more than a quarter of a million people entering the stadium that wouldn't of without them being there. You dont think that would help local pubs, shops, taxis, resturants, hotels etc ?

Lucas sad that ccfc don't run ricoh

I am not defending wasps, but surely every game they play in the city puts cash into the pockets of many a local business ?
