So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

If the academy is producing players that make the club money, that shows how vital it is. Shitty from a footballing perspective, but we're at the shitty end of the football league.

Fleck telling it like it is

The lower down the leagues you are, the shorter the contracts tend to be. We're not all that unique in this regard.

The amount of tinfoil the author must get through, sweet lord.

    Who is the one player.....

I'm adding Keith O'Neill to mine as they're fragile left-footed Irishmen. Stephen Hunt on a massive contract too.

    Who is the one player.....

One of the main things that I thought derailed us was the defence having to change so much due to players breaking, so I'd pick a solid defender who's built to last. Stephen O'Halloran.

    Season ticket prices

Bearing in mind the Sixfields discount was always only a temporary thing, I think sub-300 is fairly reasonable still, plus the payment option is available.

Is it a card again next season?

    Season ticket prices

Is this all placeholder pricing do we think? I'm waiting on the official site putting them up as I'm after the crafty NUS discount again.

    Joe Cole

I caught the first half of it last night and thought the same, cares more about the actual football than the shiny bells and whistles that come with it. I think that attitude alone makes him handy to have around a club with young players coming through.

They used to fling that young one around like a ragdoll at the start, I wonder if they fired him once he grew too big?

CET: When Kasper Schmeichel helped relegate Leicester City playing for Coventry City

I did as much to relegate Leicester that day as Schmeichel did. More if anything, I was sending out positive thoughts to Carlo Nash.

Yep, it's not meant as derogatory so the context makes it a world away from someone having it shouted at them by a stranger or whatever other use.

It's all context. If someone in an office says they're nipping out to smoke a fag, everyone knows they're not about to film a gonzo murder porn. On Twitter and things like that, the written word loses that context and can be easily and readily jumped upon.

Anybody want Kieran Crowley's old job?

His live match updates would only start when we go a goal down

Anybody want Kieran Crowley's old job?

You'd think the salary would definitely be higher for a job that requires a degree, three years experience and working weekends and nights when required. Having to read the witless replies the Facebook page gets alone should be way more compensated.

The most shocking part is James McPake avoiding injury long enough to get an international callup.

I can't remember this Gary Deegan thing that keeps getting referenced at all. People on Twitter being stupid happens so often it doesn't stick in the memory too long. Ed Balls

No, it wouldn't be fair to deduce that.
