Notts County - let's be having you !

No problem Dave....I'll be the shifty looking one (a mix of Brad Pitt and Woody Allen) slumped over a pint of Kronenburg watching the game on the big screen at 12 in The Trent Bridge Inn. Just shout where's my free pint Harry and I'll buy you one, but I don't kiss on a first date ;)

    Team for Notts County

Good point - it's one thing having a good shape to a team, but it is really disheartening when you line up and can't see who is capable of getting a goal for you (e.g. Conor Thomas - and whilst I'm not criticising him as an individual you know that he would never exceed 2 goals in a season if he...

Notts County - let's be having you !

Sorry to do a Delia but.......... It's pay on the gate (City having sold their allocation). For those undecided on whether to go on Monday, please do! I know we always have a very vocal support, but a big following should really help us (I know we were pants last time when nearly 4k turned up...

    ***Relegation Thread***

Sorry Dan - Just logged back on - no bookings nor anything particularly exciting happened. No obvious injuries (though these always seem to appear a day or two later). Alan Smith, the old Man U and Leeds player on the bench for N County, so I expect we'll see him kicking the likes of Maddison...

Port Vale dropping into it too - was hoping they would have picked up something, just to nail down Colchester at the bottom. I'm off to review Walsall v Notts County, to see if Notts County have picked up any injuries, suspensions (how sad is that?!)

How do you think the table is going to look after Friday's games?

I agree Otis. Coupled with this, Notts County have one of the toughest run ins IIRC. I'm earmarking Yeovil, Colchester and N County as 3 to go down. I think if we can beat County, and beat either Colchester or Crewe (think the former will be 'easier') we should be ok. Do NOT want the Crawley...

    Samuel Update

If Maddison is back fit, we may create more for nippier players like Jackson, Odelusi etc through his creativity. Clutching at straws, but it does look as though we are going to have a predominantly 'small' set of midfielder/forwards to get us through this. We might need Reda just for set pieces...

How do you think the table is going to look after Friday's games?

Arriving Nottingham 11.03 if the train's on time, and several pints later will be fuelled with Sky Blue optimism - it can't be as bad as last season and I think that the extra 2 days rest is a huge advantage for us.I'll go and jinx us now, but unless we **** up and get a silly sending off, we...

Not a must win, but a win would convince me we're safe. A draw wouldn't be a terrible result, but I think we're all desperate to start winning at home again and another non victory would add to the frustration. Thank God for the away form.

Logged back on here just to make the Delph is shocking point - a couple of bad players can really drag a whole team down

How average does that Clyne look on the ball. Takes so long to think about the pass, that everybody has moved elsewhere when he plays it. Our back four look pedestrian when knocking it about (England, not City that is ;))

    Yesterday

You'd think the mates he goes with (assume he wasn't on his own?) would calm him down if he gets a bit carried away. But like you say, difficult to comment as I wasn't there ( will be at Notts County, though - can't wait!!)

    Posh Match Thread

This sounds like a game where I'll be 'happy' with a point, but if we get nowt I'm not going to be happy, as we don't sound like we're having 'a go' .If we were losing by a goal, you know we'd create some chances (which we're not at the moment) - don't want this as a match we lose with a whimper...
