Ex-councillor Brian Patton to stand v Ann Lucas on Get Cov Back to the Ricoh platform

I am proud that they have not keeled over under pressure from a litigious bully. Most of your points are consequences of SISU's behaviour. One cannot be proud of a consequence, only the behaviour itself. To draw a simile, your argument to me saying I am proud of Britain for standing up...

'We'd be better off owning the Ricoh but sisu can't be trusted'?

A ground takes a big space in the balance sheet. There is an argument that we are a sports company - not a property manager - and hence we should lease the ground. But in any case, we all know that even if ACL agreed to sell, it would be some weasel off-shore SISU entity that bought it - not...

    Anyway.....Wolves

I hope not. What a wonderful image that would make - a stadium full of gold shirts on every side.

    Words from our owner

It has just struck me that for programme collectors of the future, this season will have produced the rarest and hence most valuable artefacts. Have you bought and saved all the programmes RFC? You could sell them in 10 years time and get some compensation for the inner voices accusing you of...

    Louis Garner being released

Have you seen them play? I bet Pressley has - and it would have been him that made the decision. Do you really think that SISU troubles themselves worrying about which Youth Team players we offer contracts too? You are delusional.

Ex-councillor Brian Patton to stand v Ann Lucas on Get Cov Back to the Ricoh platform

This is playing into SISU's hands. I'm not a leftie, but I am proud of the way that our council has not allowed itself to be blackmailed by SISU. Neither you nor Patton will get any votes from me.

    Shouldn't that be 'DOPE'?

    Cyrus Christie

Exactly. It's not like any money received will go into developing the team. It will go towards covering losses.

US business man planning to launch bit to bring CCFC back to the ricoh

Boracic is a new word to me. Looked it up - means "of or relating to or derived from or containing boron; "boric acid"" Confused. Is there another meaning not in my dictionary?

US business man planning to launch bit to bring CCFC back to the ricoh

It seems extremely unlikely at present - whilst SISU still think they can steal the ground. You'd imagine only someone astute would have the money that SISU would demand to enable them to make a profit. And nobody astute would pay that amount.

    Private Eye Todays Issue

To misquote Shakespeare: "I know Les to be an excellent reporter - marry he told me so himself and he said he cared not who knew it."

The only person I know who would be so complimentary about Reid is Reid. I suspect he has a new job chez Lord Gnome.

    Pressley and Waggot

I'm sure you are a very nice person - but that is bollocks. Every club has a budget. Pressley knows his budget and selects his targets within that. I agree with the guy who said that Pressley's selections have been poor. My opinion is that he is good motivator - but he is a poor scout. He...

FourFourTwo - Top 50 FL players

Clarke is there over Wilson because he plays for 'fashionable' club Wolves. If it had been Wilson they'd bought instead then it would be him in the article.

    Question for Mr Jan Mokrzycki

I'm sure this must be a hoax. The writer of this email is not very good at written English - incorrectly spelling with homophones and ranting style - also the odd tautology I noticed (bccing without my knowledge). Surely someone in a senior position at the club is more intelligent/better...

    Trust, Young Fans Good idea

This really is a very funny thread. It reads like an extract from the playground. All we are missing is "what you say is what you are and you're not allowed to say nice things"

I wonder how many ex-W'don fans still travel to Milton Keynes every home game.
