If someone ran into my place of work and suddenly grabbed me round the neck I'd throw him to the ground, it's called self defence. I wouldn't be waiting to see if he was going to throw a punch next or take a selfie!

    Quality of officiating

the problem is you enter the competition accepting the rules however unjust the outcome. Rule number 1 the football League is always right. Rule number 2 Referees give decisions on how they saw it. Rule number 3 Managers should not try and manipulate the press, are guilty and need to read rule 1...

80 per cent of winning goals come in the last 15 minutes though. So do you want your best players starting or finishing the game. Depends on how much you think they have in the tank.

    Now that we can

I know I highlight Murphy's weaknesses but I would put him ahead of Lamieras. Murphy just needs to learn to get into games for longer periods, because when he is in the game we are at our most dangerous.

Sometime it is more psychological than physical. It gave Armstrong a chance to come on when the game is starting to get stretched. Take a bit of pressure off him. He has done well he is only 18, his body hasn't finished developing yet. But it is mental strength as much as physical sometimes.

We are and it has been clear Armstrong needed a rest despite the return of Maddison. Bringing him off the bench nearly worked he almost scored with his first touch. Too many on here dismiss teams on league position alone. No game is easy.

Last two posts Otis bang on. Sheff Utd was very unfortunate. Oldham we should have closed out but as you say a hard to beat side. Today was a tough away game with a new Manager coming in. It is a long season and we are about half way. We are ahead of schedule I would say compared to when...

    Mr Tinkerman

Murphy is dynamic one on one when he can use his pace. When he has two players in front of him he is less decisive. Certain teams have stifled him. He normally gets freed up with the arrival of Kent who draws defenders and gives him space on the opposite side to get one on one. MAF would be...

Arsenal and Liverpool in race to sign James Maddison (Independent)

And that is the problem with Premier League wages, many don't want to play. So fair play to Armstrong, Murphy and Kent for coming here to learn and advance their trade.

    Maf!!

Training Monday to Friday? I must admit I think Tudgay has been under used at this level. But all managers have one or two they seem to favour.

He had a good game certainly and deserves the credit.

Arsenal and Liverpool in race to sign James Maddison (Independent)

You don't know he is going anywhere just yet. It depends on the offer, what the club wants and what the player wants. Every club above us will have an interest in Maddison. Just like they are watching Armstrong Murphy Kent RCC and probably Stokes.....with our players and their age we are...

Or he has found the right player isn't available. I remember people panicking pre season we had no forwards. Reda and Turners injuries have been setbacks. Martin has been transformed since Mobray arrived and has been like a new signing. Signing Rickets, Stokes and Vincelot have been great...

    New goalie needed

Plus there are probably 5 or 6 worth watching when we play.

This is a game we should have won....however the way it went we have to accept it was a point won on the day. It is a long season folks and promotion and play offs are a long way away. We are still in the mix and that is good enough.

He has shown he had that in his locker before Joe Cole arrived. Where have you been?

Yes it is. But fans don't have to be on the pitch to be happy. One goes on and then others have go on like sheep...it is childish not happyness

But if a players no longer want to play for you it is a waste of time. You have a textbook theory that doesn't work in the real world.
