Now I'm trying to guess whether you are bluffing or not?!

    These next fixtures

8 points (2 wins, 2 draws) Think Walsall will be tougher than Burton. Beat Crewe & Burton, draw Walsall, Saafend :D

    Beckham

Wish Ryan Kent, Lameiras et al would study how Beckham crosses a ball - comes across a decent bloke, and not as full of himself as he might be. Still acted with deference to Sir 'Boss' Alex !

    So, it now looks like

Agree to an extent Otis, but if we draw v Crewe and beat Walsall (for example) but Walsall win their other game (their equivalent of Crewe), then we would only have clawed 1 point back against them, instead of3, so these other games are still very important.

    Mr Tinkerman

We played the day before yesterday. Fresh legs are important - quality on pitch (and bench if necessary). Makes sense that he would use squad rotation today. Kents pace replaces Murphy and we haven't filled the team full of dross - we'll see come 5pm. In Mowbray (and Madders) we trust!

    Andy Rose signed

I'll like him until he refers to 'soccer', 'offence' or 'deeeefence' in any interview. After that, he's got to be very good to win me over :D:D

Would you sell him for £10m

With the money in the PL, why not this amount. Chambers (a full back) £16m from Southampton, Fulham paid £12m for McCormack, Forest £5m for Assombolonga. Money knocking about has increased enormously since those latter transfers. You don't ask, you don't get. Sell high, buy low. By the way - I...

    Happy Christmas

LOL. Was just thinking of starting this thread, and asking what people wanted Santa to bring CCFC for Christmas, I'd like some wins over the holiday period and a bolstering of the squad (Tim Fisher might look good in a Santa suit - made to measure!) Merry Christmas, one and all - even my...

Arsenal and Liverpool in race to sign James Maddison (Independent)

Yes he is. That's why they want him. When he is fully fit, and if he avoids injury, he will be the player that can open up the teams that 'park the bus' at the Ricoh. Only minor issue with him is fragility (Diego Costa he 'aint!). Let's enjoy him while we have him and hope CCFC get as much as we...

Port Vale Forum Pre Match Interview / Report vrs Coventry

I'll answer No. 3 - Kent, Lameiras, Murphy, Armstrong, Maddison, - but 2/3 of them may not play, and they may have worldies or be anonymous - does that help you (Mr Page?)

    Tomorrow TM....

Only by not saying 'do one' if anyone makes an approach. We didn't fight that hard for Calum (and others before) to stay. And - of course - I don't want any of this to happen Torchy!

    Cardiff

Let's face it, if he's out for even 2 weeks over Christmas, Cardiff will want him back. If it's a 24hr recall, I assume they can't affect tomorrow, A blow, but always a chance of it happening. We'll just have to go for the all out attack option and at least Phillips and Lorentzen are back in...

    Tomorrow TM....

Wolves 2 - 3 Leeds tonight, so Jackett is under the cosh, but Wolves aren't going anywhere this season, and Wolves fans don't like ex Baggies. Can't see it being attractive at the moment to TM. Only happen if CCFC encourage it.
