Best actor portrayals of a perpetual character

Bond: Connery Craig Dalton Brosnan Moore (Shout out to Bob Holness for not only being the world's best super spy but also the student's choice of 80s quizmaster) Didn't include Lazenby as I can't remember much about his single appearance Batman: West (bizarrely, the reasons I dislike Moore as...

Any sign of an interview ?

If it involves a good run that gets us up the table, sounds like quite a decent outcome to me.

    Steve Brown steps down

I like how the title is a little poetic. We need Miles Jupp to step up.

    Nigel Pearson

I'm going to say that I think Nigel Pearson is a lovely man, because I also suspect he's the kind who'll look for people slagging him off and visit each of their houses.

    Gilbert's Book

The Dutch company was new to me, or I've at least forgotten it since the time. Now there's a Kindle version I'm tempted, although that taster chapter is a lot of money man and politician talk so it may be too depressing and disillusioning to read the whole saga.

    Anybody read footballers autobiographys ?

Most tend to come from the player but put into print by a professional writer. With Robbie Savage's book the writer had to decipher the crayon drawings he stuck on the fridge

    Anybody read footballers autobiographys ?

I read Tony Adams' one years ago, that stood out amongst the general fluff pieces of the time as being frank and honest. Recently I've enjoyed Ibrahimovic, Maradona and Pirlo, all people you could easily think have disappeared up their own arse if they didn't justify the hype. I got the Bergkamp...

New Series of Still Game starts next Friday

I liked it, but the melancholy bit with him sending his mooching brother away in shame was a bit out of place.

    Gilbert's Book

The chapter about coming back to the Ricoh says that the Gillingham attendance was great, but for the next game we only had a quarter back.
