    Has GMK gone for good?

That's just what Igantius would say. How's your valve?

    Has GMK gone for good?

I missed it. Could you please state it again?

    Has GMK gone for good?

This reminds me of a scene in Henry V: ORLEANSI know him to be valiant. ConstableI was told that by one that knows him better than you. ORLEANSWhat's he? ConstableMarry, he told me so himself; and he said he cared not who knew it

    Has GMK gone for good?

Go, on. Pleeeeeease. Just one more post? Just a small one, perhaps protesting how intelligent you are and maybe stating that you won't post on here?

    Has GMK gone for good?

This makes me smile, especially the use of the noun 'intelligencia' instead of 'intelligence'. Reminds me of Russell Brand, who likes to use long words but if you listen to what he says it's all nonsense and doesn't often make sense. Denning Kruger effect methinks.

    FA Cup classic finals

I'll be shouting for Villa today. It's a Midlands club and the underdog; have never understood the antagonism from City fans towards them. Maybe it's because they were in Div 2 when I stated supporting City... it was always Leicester that we chanted against back then. Having said that, I like...

    Has GMK gone for good?

I've always suspected that Grendal and Tony are one and the same.

    Has GMK gone for good?

Perhaps Nick could provide a sub-forum for you all to write "I'm Alan" at each other?

    Has GMK gone for good?

There certainly are some daft posts on here and mindless threads. I've never visited GMK - not for any reason other than I don't need two chat sites and I found this one first. However I do find it a little ironic that the "GMK thread" is just as pointless as the worst on here. I suspect in...

    I've Done It !

Saw the same tour in Bath. Never seen Buzzcocks. Saw Comsats twice in Roots Hall at Warwick Uni - the first time supporting the Cure.

BTW, have you seen Devoto recently? He was always the epitome of ultra-cool. He now looks like Buddha (and not the one with curly hair).

    I've Done It !

Liked Buzzcocks but Magazine was one of my 4 most favourite bands. The others: The Cure; Comsat Angels and Television.

    I've Done It !

Yep, I'm a bit of Devoto nerd. :) Listened to Jerky Versions of the Dream again recently after a break of some years and it sounds dated though in way that the Magazine stuff doesn't. Also have the Luxuria albums.

    I've Done It !

Have you read the Dostoevsky novella 'Notes from the Underground' which influenced Devoto heavily on 'Song from under the floorboards'? I found it hard-going but generally like his other work (you may know that Crime and Punishment also gets a name check through Raskolnikov in Philadelphia on...

    I've Done It !

It's a painting by Odilon Redon. He did some scary stuff worse than that! :) It's also the cover for the Magazine single 'Give Me Everything'.

Why Pressley will never make it as a manager

When you were mediocre in your first few jobs would it have been fair to say that you'd never be any good?

    I've Done It !

I'd make the argument to you that if you are considering buying you should go for it before proof of signings - or at least before the cheap prices go. Two reasons: 1. Look at Mowbray's track record: we can assume that he'll bring in the right players. 2. We don't yet know the impact that...

Yes, I've also been told something secret by an inconsequential person that I shalln't reveal on here.
