Because of Robins post match interview and obvious enthusiasm for Palmer coming back. Palmer just slows tempo and work rate, both of which are essential to us playing well.

If you are talking about strikers you need to look specifically at the Wright, Simms and Godden goal stats.

Saka was immense last night. As well as his tricky wing play and providing a wide attacking option ; he tackled back everywhere including the left side of the pitch on one ocassional! He also produced some great longer range passing. His combination with MVE is working brilliantly.

Collins, Kitching, MVE, Bidwell, Allen, Saka, O'Hare all absolutely cemented their places. Saka and Calum were a class above, fantastic. Thomas is worryingly sloppy at times, he needs to sort it. Sheaf looks a graceful player but is often overrated imo. Wright and Simms are an enigma. Both try...

That Sakamoto performance was absolutely fantastic. He deserves a lot of plaudits, as well as Calum. Must be undroppable at the moment. Robins did mention Palmer quite a lot in his post match interview….. who is he going to replace, Simms I guess…
