So in practical terms what would you bin from the manifesto and what would you replace it with?

    Wasps downward spiral...

Does that mean home games that are now meaningless? Looked 5K tops there today, imagine what it will be like for the remaining games.

Some of the vox pops that have been on since the election have been eye opening. Seen people saying they switched from Labour to Conservative due to lack of funding for the NHS, the bedroom tax, too many homeless, number of food banks even a vague things have gone downhill the last few years...

Was that not a foul on O'Hare right before they booted it up the other end and scored?

That's ridiculous from the ref. He practically stepped on McCallum when he was down but didn't stop play then as soon as we get in position to shoot he stops it. That's nothing but compete incompetence. He knows the player is down either stop it straight away or don't stop, not like he suddenly...

Quality is OK, but not brilliant, on mine but the sound is way behind the pictures, far worse than the usual delay.

I really hope this isn't the way things go. Maybe if we all hadn't been so accepting of the fact politicians lie over the years we wouldn't have this mess now. The thought that the solution will be for everyone else to ramp up the lies and deceit does not sit well with me.

I've voted in a similar way and that just highlights the problem with the 2 party FPTP system. On the right you only really have the Conservatives, well until UKIP came along and we all know the mess we got into when Cameron panicked about them, the other side is so fragmented and even then...

I'm not convinced that whoever Labour elect as their next leader won't get the same treatment unless they abandon the left again to go for the Blair type option. Won't be on the same issues of course but they will find a stick of some sort and use it.

That's a dangerous game though isn't it? If the 'will of the people' is a referendum and Johnson keeps refusing are they just going to say OK and forget about it?

    General Election 2019 thread

Would be interesting to see the campaign if there were another referendum given that last time it was based on 'better together' and staying in the EU! Don't think the EU would be beyond bending the rules to somehow allow Scotland to stay in on current terms, eg: keep the pound, although...

I don't hold much hope that Johnson's personal preference will come through. He's repeatedly shown himself to be happy to switch his view on a whim. My hope is that there are now moves to try and unite a bitterly divided country. The reshuffle could give an indication of that, if there is to be...

    General Election 2019 thread

Be interesting to see what direction they go in. Certainly some hard choices for them coming up. Mentioned before that recently I've considered not voting, something I've not considered in the past. Just feel like I'm running out of options. If Labour were to go back to the Blair years and...
